Thieves Steal Christmas Toys From Community Center By EMILY SHAPIRO Dec 24, 2015
After hundreds of children's Christmas presents were stolen from a Pittsburgh community center, residents and businesses in the area immediately stepped in to help.
Christmas gifts for 400 children -- donated by Toys for Tots for Pittsburgh families -- were stolen Monday evening from a community center, where they were being stored before being distributed, according to the Pittsburgh Bureau of Police.
"It's disgusting," Pittsburgh Police Zone 5 Cmdr. Jason Lando told ABC News affiliate WTAE-TV in Pittsburgh. "We never condone theft of any kind but three days before Christmas and you're stealing from little kids?"
As officers investigated the burglary, they also took inventory of the stolen gifts. The police went to the public for help, asking them to drop off gift cards at the police station so officers could buy gifts to replenish the donations in time.

>>[This Stuff Happens Each Christmas: Why?]
Because Natural Man is an unrepentant sinner, who only deserves death.
Black lives matter when something's absolutely, positively gotta be broken into - over night!
And yet some groups of natural men go an entire lifetime without ever doing such a thing.
“Natural man” didn’t raid the gifts. A particular offender or offenders did. Even unbelievers usually have respected Christmas. This is a particularly bad kind of evil.
Indeed; the question at hand isn’t “Why do people do evil things.” It is “Why has evil gotten this bad in a place where this used to be unthinkable.”
And the answer at hand might look a whole lot like “Christians fell asleep at the wheel.”
The country hit notwithstanding, Jesus often is not planning to take the wheel while His children lollygag. He is planning to teach you how to steer in a joint voyage with God. But you can always refuse the lesson.
>>âNatural manâ didnât raid the gifts. A particular offender or offenders did. Even unbelievers usually have respected Christmas. This is a particularly bad kind of evil.
We are all “Natural Man” until we are regenerated by the saving grace of God and the work of the Holy Spirit.
I used to buy gifts to donate to the ‘tree’ at the mall...gifts that supposedly go to ‘needy’ children. A volunteer told me to always remove any tags because ‘adults’ will return the gifts for money, money to fund their enterprises, not the children’s.
>>And yet some groups of natural men go an entire lifetime without ever doing such a thing.
If they are unregenerated Natural Man, then the only thing that stops them is the threat of punishment. All men are sinners until they are regenerated.
I blame global warming and the NRA.
Our office collects toys every year at Christmastime.
One of our employee volunteers told me her task was to black out the UPC codes on the gifts so that the mothers couldn’t return them to the store for cash.
Your take sounds like “Christian proud.” Proud of condemning. It tends to miss details that point to the actions of God’s grace, and sometimes “Christian pride” can serve as an enemy to this grace.
Sometimes it is a prideful approximation to good will, which can be superseded by actual good will in some cases, and in other cases just struts around pretending how good it is. Don’t denigrate the grace of God and don’t underestimate the danger of “Christian” versions of evil against this grace.

You found a way to read that into my post?? I take no credit for whatever goodness I may exhibit. It is all the work of God.
And you are wrong (or, incompletely right) anyhow... another preventative can be the desire of mis-sourced reward. I.e. social approval, unbelieving though it may be.
Got to be careful about one-sided pictures. That is just begging to get blind sided by Satan.
I’d bet the you or I never stole someone’s Christmas presents, what the hell is wrong with some people?
I read what words I see.
