All the Trumpies tell us Trump is the only one who can beat Hillary. Yet in poll after poll she slaughters him, some by more that 10%. Cruz is right there on her tail. Plus Cruz looks and sounds more Presidential. Trump is just a celbrity getting press for himself. Trump cant win. No one likes him, yet he has pulled the wool over conservatives eyes and believe him

And, if this was Ted Cruz drawing these kinds of crowds, you would be singing a different tune, wouldn’t you? I’m so sure that people are standing in mile-long lines for up to 2 hours at a time, then standing inside a venue for another hour or so, just to be on the “bandwagon.” I guess that explains the rally in Michigan the other night, when people stood in line for hours in the pouring rain.

I don't think FR should become an echo chamber, or conservative political discourse in general is served by telling people "Stop thinking for yourself and just do what everybody else is doing!".
Of all the possible arguments I might find to try and convince someone else to support him, that's about the most insulting to a genuine conservative and ultimately counter productive one I can think of.
