And, for what its worth, 2nd gen biofuels will never be economic. Just because it works in the lab does not mean it is economically feasible. Governments have pissed away tens of billions supporting ivory tower educated idiots chasing this Holy Grail. They all think their new "discoveries" are going to change the world, but seem to have no concept of the economics required to commercialize such technologies. The pursuit of 2nd gen started more than a century ago and no one has yet found a truly free market economic solution. Perhaps its time to move on to something else.

If you go to the link you discover that the real amount the us will be on the hook for is 2.3 billion that’s why so much was redacted not for puny 400 mill.

A lot of this is just dollar destruction. The more dollars get pissed away the less its worth.incremental destruction of the country is what the chicago regime is all about.
Unfortunately our candidates are too dumb to talk about it in their campaigns.
