“I read that Iowans would not like out of state volunteers knocking on their doors. “

Not a problem; we don’t mind here in Iowa!

All kinds of people come here in January every 4 years; we know its not for the weather!

Trump will have to get most of his support from those that don’t normally attend, imo.
Whether the non traditional caucus goers will turnout is to be seen. But they to a large
extent are what Trump has to bank on.

I never thought Trump would have a big showing but his attendance at the rallies has
been large. Once in a blue moon someone or something comes along to shake up the norm.
This may be time the norm gets shaken.

Thank you for explaining. I knew the campaign was too smart to get in the way. Enjoy and if you can updates please.

Cruz better get more than triple what Santorum got in 2012 if he wants to compete. Good luck with that.

Iowa December, 2015 voter rolls by congressional district.

https://sos.iowa.gov/elections/pdf/VRStatsArchive/2015/CongDec15.pdf

The usual 120,000 Iowa caucus goers won’t happen this time. Plenty more where that came from . It’s going to be at least doubled.

I bet you would too. I’ve seen your posts. When they start to turn colors you get serious. ;-)

Even what I posted on this thread would hammer Bob Beckel ...not that it takes a lot.

LOL

It is serious to me, but the important thing for me is for the reader to be able to see what I said, what the response was, and my counter.

I want each thought to be addressed.

Some folks get upset, but in that manner I address them on point and don’t ignore their thoughts.

I admit it is unusual.

Beckle in his early days defending Clinton was VERY ugly. On FoxNews he mellowed over time.

Not sure what he’s like in recent times on CNN.

This is all laughable. Cruz gets meager gatherings at best, Trump gets record size crowds everywhere. That is reality. All the rest of this that Cruz supporters are too busy to go to Cruz events yet will show up for the caucus is fantasy. They’ll be too busy, if they exist at all. Numbers count and Trump shows the support. Seriously, if even a fraction of his crowds show up, they’ll overwhelm everyone else. Besides, Trump is too smart to leave all this to chance. I’m sure he’s steps ahead of everyone on this.

THANK YOU! About time someone fixed that chart. Never version needs Red or Yellow for Cruz on Immigration and Foreign Policy.

Yeah me too. I don't know what's up with Beckel these days.

Gotta go. :-)

Without the support of a unified Republican Party he will accomplish nothing.

Isn't the same true of Trump? Perhaps more so?

Anyone who marginalizes Trump simply has to be ignoring, for one thing, his rally turnouts.

Turnout at rallies doesn't mean victory. Turnout at caucuses does.

Yes. We will see if rally goers are also caucus goers. I don’t think the Trump team is too dumb to realize that. Dumb and ineffective is not their track record.

I don’t think the Trump team is too dumb to realize that.

I have no doubt at all that they realize that. The question now becomes if their organization can do a better job of getting them to the caucus that Cruz's organization can. Time will tell.
