Apparently, David Catron is an MBA who focuses on health care issues.

Why he's weighing in on Trump is beyond me.

I'd like to see his work on the health care issue.

If he hasn't come out attacking the fraudulent nature of the entire health care industry, then he's a fraud himself.

Americans will wise up. I think it is mostly name recognition. Most voters haven't thought about the election yet.

libbylu, perennial Trumppigeon.

Bill and Hillary share a moral and a scruple. Sometimes. On occasion, they loan one or the other to Chelsea. As for Hillary and Bill’s criminal behavior? Not a problem.

Their defenses?

We didn’t do anything wrong.
We didn’t know we did anything wrong.
You can’t prove we knew we did anything wrong.
We’ve covered that ground already. Its old news.
It’s a conspiracy against us.

“In reality, it is they who are being played by a press corps that is giving him 24/7 coverage to bolster his illusory lead in the national polls.”

(this will be a fun article...I’m just at the beginning)

Count me as one of those “Illusory Voters”. If Trump’s name is on the Texas ballot in March, HE GETS MY VOTE, even if he had dropped out for whatever reason...unless they clear his name, he WILL get my vote.

“Because there’s no such thing as a national primary, they measure little more than name recognition.”

Nice try, but Trump had 100% “name recognition” LONG BEFORE he was the front runner. Most people, me included, laughed a bit when he announced, but continued to support the ‘serious candidates’ like Cruz (or Walker, back then).

It was ONLY AFTER he talked about secure borders, laying into Hillary, and blasting the Party Establishment did his support go on an upward trajectory.

All professional pundits, both left and right, kowtow to the religion of PC. Trump is destroying their world by blasting their silly riles out of the political water.

“The GOP has one thing to seriously ponder: What do they do if Donald Trump does NOT get the nomination.”

I now believe the GOPe does not really care if they win or not. They are just another version of the Democrat party. Both seem to have the same overall goals, only the GOPe pretends that they do not.

After the American people return them to power, the Republicans in office have done nothing to slow down or reverse any of Obamas action.

I should have seen it when Sarah Palin almost won the election for McCain but the GOPe stood by while the left attempted to destroy her (with help from McCain).

“This was not merely damaging to the GOP’s image with Hispanics, 40 percent of whom must vote Republican if the party is to recapture the White House.”

This is TOTAL BULLSHIT (sorry). It only holds if Republicans capture something like 55% of the white vote.

Whites are 70% OF THE ELECTORATE. Republicans won 75% to 89% of the white vote in their 2014 SWEEP of the South. Any Republican that unifies the WHITE VOTE (i.e., get over 65%) will win with virtually no minority support.

But the candidates have to ADDRESS CONCERNS of White Voters, not treat them like GARBAGE, and then expect their votes because of big, bad, Hillary. We already proved that approach DOES NOT WORK, in 2008 and 2012. In 2016, with Trump, white voters will have REAL REASONS to vote for Trump, and millions of them will be crossing party lines to do so.

The idea that we NEED the Hispanic vote to be 40% may someday be the case, in maybe 20 years - but TODAY a Republican can EASILY WIN if he simply treats whites like they have some value too.

Aye, all the angst against a TRUE outsider, Mr. Trump, yet nary a word on the sell-out by Congress (McTurtle and Blackbeard Ryan)

Let’s see, who’s doing the damage to the U.S.? Ones within D.C. or those without?

“that (Trump) had not heard of the nuclear triad.”

The word TRIAD has not been used for 25 YEARS! Before that, yes, it was in the news, and a common term, but Trump’s priority back then was BUILDING THINGS, not spending his days inside of Think Tanks.

Try asking him about current events, before (them) calling him ignorant.

“Half of American voters say they’d be embarrassed to have Donald Trump as their Commander in Chief.”

That’s probably BETTER than Reagan was doing at this point, in 1979. Ask again in 4 years.

“It’s harder to see how a significant number of voters, assuming his supporters actually vote, have been fooled by the transparent media campaign to keep Trump’s cartoon candidacy going.”

What, exactly, do they think we do when we have SOMEONE TO VOTE FOR, for once? It is unbelievable that this clown, who helped give us ROMNEY, thus suppressing 4 MILLION VOTES, has the gall to tell us Trump supporters that we won’t vote!

Oh, we’ll vote, I PROMISE. And I suspect even a lot of Cruz, Rubio, and Carson supporters DO NOT APPRECIATE this level of condescension being dumped on us Trump supporters and they may also want to teach jerks like this a lesson or two.

You must be missing it. They have already wised up. Maybe you and this journalist will wise up eventually once you are able to see the forest through the trees.

Sad when you agree with a guy like this.

By the way, he isn’t for Cruz either.

“Presumably, it’s a symptom of our increasingly sick celebrity culture, combined with widespread public frustration with Beltway bumbling.”

I dealt with the ‘celebrity worship’ meme in my first post, but I guess he didn’t hear me, so I’ll say it again. We, REPUBLICAN VOTERS, considered Trump to be a BIG JOKE when he first announced, not a serious candidate. It was only AFTER he started taking positions we supported (and after you guys became totally unglued), we realized he was real, and started supporting him.

As to Beltway Bungling - NICE TRY. There is no ‘bungling’ going on. You guys know EXACTLY what you’re doing...otherwise you really wouldn’t care about Trump, just more ‘bungling’. No, we see the VISCERAL REACTION as evidence that Trump is a mortal threat to your plans, which is EXACTLY WHY we will be voting for him.
