How do we know they aren't lying now?
Just as important, how do other members that they need to support their bill know they can be trusted, Cruz has even bad-mouthed some members of Congress he may need now.
In 2013, Sen. Cruz proposed amendments to the "Gang of 8" bill that would strengthen border security, expand green card opportunities, increase high-skilled "H1B" visas, prevent illegal aliens from receiving welfare benefits, and enforce the rule of law.When Obama does it it's "sabotage of skilled American workers"...When Cruz does it he proudly posts it on his official Senate website
