The bill being proposed has nothing to do with who pays for it. I agree with you, the taxpayers shouldn’t pay, the patient should pay. Back to the bill, the effect is to set conditions that patients and doctors must do in order to obtain the drug. If a patient was paying with cash on hand, the bills effect on the patient is just the same as if the patient was receiving government handouts.

Conveniently ignores that one affects a person's body and only his body while the other kills an innocent human being...Abortion is not birth control - it's murder.
Ironically, the same ones who think abortion is fine, would be horrified if we executed heinous criminals in the same manner ...
