I want to know where these websites are, that a weapon of any kind may be purchased online.

It may be possible to contact a gun shop online, but the purchase cannot be concluded until the buyer PHYSICALLY shows up at the gun seller’s shop, goes through the database scan of his history, including any possible criminal activity in the past or medical conditions that are now basis for prohibition of any firearm purchase, and emerges with no evidence of any specific reason to deny the conclusion of the purchase.

That is really quite a few hoops to jump through already, and in by far the vast majority of instances, screens out the potential troublemakers and obvious red flags.

A few, a very few, leak past even the most sophisticated scanning system, and sometimes we do have legally obtained weapons used in a most unlawful manner. But just about every one of these instances, the target of the assault proved to be a “gun-free zone”.

Eliminate the “gun-free zones”, or at least the signs posted designating such a locality, and degree of uncertainty it introduces to the would-be assailant all but eliminates the “lone-wolf” type assaults.
