Fox News's O'Reilly Factor host Bill O'Reilly praised President Obama's executive actions to expand background checks.
Earlier in the day, Obama announced executive orders to expand background checks to cover more private sellers and expanded background checks to family and corporate trusts. O'Reilly said, "The FBI should background check anyone buying a firearm in America. That just makes sense."
According to RawStory, O'Reilly added, "If you are paranoid and believe the government is stockpiling information so they can come to your house and take your guns, that's your problem, your problem. But the government has an obligation to enhance public safety."

I can’t hack Bill O’Reilly. He’s a mixed bag but the noxious stuff in the bag is too much to take.
Thanks O’Reilly. I’m glad you are okay with doctors becoming government snitches. I will now tell my doctors only that information they need to know from this point forward.
If the government were really interested in enhancing public safety, they wouldn’t be trying to bring in tens of thousands of unvetted Syrian Muslims.

O’Reilly sits on the Fox set, protected by someone with a gun, and goes home to a gated community with security. He is not a “little person” and he is definitely not “looking out for you.” We haven’t watched that weasel in a couple of years, and haven’t missed him.

I’ve had the opportunity to tell a police officer that what I had in my vehicle was none of his business.
I politely replied, “Officer, citing the 4th Amendment and 5th Amendment of the US Constitution, I decline to respond to your inquiry.”
I was “released” with no further attempts to ask questions. Texas DPS are really good folk!
I had a doctor who, when just giving me a checkup, asked if I had any guns in my home...I told him it was none of his business....
He said, “Good answer...”

I just can’t stomach O’Reilly, I see nothing has changed in the seven years I haven’t watched him. I think he takes these positions to demonstrate that “you won’t pigeonhole me” to show his “independence” from Conservative orthodoxy. What a phony.
I learned a long time ago to ignore anyone who thinks he’s never wrong.
