This is important because, if some do not get the GOP candidate they want, they can teach the GOPe a lesson they won’t forget and vote for Gary. Even if he takes a small number of votes, in close states it could make a difference in electoral votes. Ralph Nader syphoned off enough Democrat votes to keep Gore out of the White House. Hillary should be (maybe she will) help bankroll his campaign.
He’d take significantly more votes from the GOP, as he did last time.
The good news is that the people that choose the Libertarian nominee are hard core nutter activists who may not care that he got a record 1% of the vote and choose some no-name loser instead.
