Reagan League

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

California based Reagan League endorses Ted Cruz for President.

Fresno, CA - January 6, 2016 - The Reagan League has officially endorsed Ted Cruz for President by a unanimous vote of its founding board members.

"Ted Cruz is actually a rare mainstream candidate that resonates with the majority of the American people, much like Reagan. Personal liberty, traditional values and a strong national defense is a winning combination and representative of the majority of Americans." said Serafin Quintanar, co-founder and spokesperson for Reagan League.

Reagan League intends to help organize grass roots volunteers for the Cruz Campaign. This includes not just activism in California, but also reaching outside the state.

"Ted Cruz is a rock-ribbed conservative who is standing for truth in the face of a culture that celebrates what's "cool" over what's right." added Brian Raymond, a co-founder of Reagan League.

About Reagan League:

Reagan League is the leading conservative grassroots organization in the California Central Valley. Reagan League focuses on three dimensions of activism: traditional direct voter contact, social media and voter sentiment analysis.

Reagan League leverages its network of activists to advance candidates and causes that reflect our commitment to Economic Freedom, Liberty, and Equal Justice.

“Does the “Reagan League” have an actual website?”

Not that I can find. Nothing but a small facebook page with 351 likes. I get more hits a day than that on my blog.

WHO RUNS the “REAGAN LEAGUE”????

LOL!

I’ve started the Official FR Keepers of the Reagan Legacy Society as of 2 minutes ago.

Our first act is to endorse Trump. Hopefully it gets posted 14 times to FR today!

The Reagan League is a facebook page that has 351 ‘likes’... making it another grimace-packed, head-scratching embarrassment. They must have locked the doors at a Cruz town hall and wouldn’t let anybody out until they liked the page.

I saw one ‘article’ that specifically mentioned the Central Valley Tea Party group. Don’t know anything about them.

First in Iowa, first in California, surging to second in SC. Seems like you would pay more attention before you stepped in it.

Yes. I found it in a good article about him.

The Absolutist
http://www.newyorker.com/magazine/2014/06/30/the-absolutist-2
JUNE 30, 2014 ISSUE

Many senators turn the foyers of their Washington offices into shrines to their states. Al Franken, for instance, covers the walls with pennants from every college in Minnesota. But in Cruz’s foyer, in the Dirksen Building, there are only a couple of framed portraits (of Texans who have served in the Senate) and a Dr Pepper-branded refrigerator. (Dr Pepper is headquartered in Plano.) The room looks as if Cruz had just moved in....

Cruz’s inner office is dominated by a three-panel painting of Ronald Reagan in Berlin, before the Brandenburg Gate. Reagan is Cruz’s hero, though Cruz, at forty-three, is too young ever to have voted for him. Like Reagan, Cruz believes in limited government, but his basis for that belief differs in a significant way from Reagan’s. Reagan thought limited government was a matter of political choice; Cruz believes it is a constitutional mandate. Cruz comes to that belief from a position of unusual intimacy with the constitutional text.

come on jessup......this makes perfect sense. In every way, Cruz is more in line philosophically with Reagan than any other candidate. This is logical, pre ordained, was going to happen.

“First in Iowa, first in California, surging to second in SC. Seems like you would pay more attention before you stepped in it.”

Just 3??

Close in Iowa.
Not overtaking trump in SC, but picked up some Carson votes thanks to trump.
Not sure what will happen in California.

I think there are like 47 other states...unless you are Obama and then you’d have 54 more states.

If Cruz was the favorite of voters nationwide, seems he’d be leading in more than half the states.

go back to kindergarten. Your reading comprehension and logical analysis is embarrassing.

As Rush said today, if Cruz wins Iowa, THEN EVERYTHING CHANGES.....

All I asked was if the "Reagan League" had a website. It appears it does not, just a web presence confined to a Facebook page with 351 'likes'.

As for anything being 'pre ordained', Ted Cruz would be the first to smack down that notion, not even Donald Trump would suggest that his likely nomination is pre ordained, he knows he's going to have to fight for it.

And he is. And so is Cruz.

They must be Establishment fake conservatives, since they’re not supporting The Donald. Why, The Donald even uses Reagan’s slogan!

pre ordained that certain people or groups would gravitate towards Cruz...that would include most of the Reagan team - and those still alive who served with Reagan....Viniter, Levin, etc - have.

Can I try?

- endorsements are only for those that need to fund raise
- doesn't matter that Cruz gets the endorsement of an organization bearing the name of the SECOND greatest man to ever live. The first is, well......
- Cruz probably promised some favors in secret to get this
- this isn't true, they really want to endorse Trump but the media helped with this lie
- stupid organization to focus on issues, don't they see the polls! Trump is crushing Cruz in Idaho!
- Reagan was for amnesty, he signed a bill. Trump will make Mexico pay for the wall with money they don't have.
- Nancy doesn't like Trump, she's in on this

How was that?

That band put out a really good song back in the 80s. It started out with, “You were working as a waitress in a cocktail bar.” Good times. Good times.
