Lemme guesss.....

EnviroWhackos would not let them burn it off at the well site, because that would be creating greenhouse gasses. SO the utility has been pumping it all underground in the hopes that someday it will become someone else’s problem.

I was watching a video about it and “it can’t be stopped” was stated within the first couple of sentences then maybe 5 minutes later they said authorities projected it would be months before it could be stopped. Great reporting.
