Sen. Jim Inhofe endorsed Sen. Marco Rubio for the Republican presidential nomination on Saturday, becoming the second Oklahoman in Congress to back the first-term Florida lawmaker.
Inhofe, R-Tulsa, called Rubio "a solid conservative" and said he would be the strongest Republican candidate against Hillary Clinton if the former secretary of state secures the Democratic nomination.

I do not blindly follow endorsements. But they do factor into my decisions in some ways.
Since Scott Walker dropped out (who was my first choice), I have really been wondering who to vote for. We have donated to Carson, Cruz, Rubio, and Trump.
All of them have good points, all of them have bad points.
Just puttin' it out there, folks.
Inhofe is certainly a conservative but in the end he’s a camper.
No way he goes against McConnell to endorse Cruz or Trump.
Rubio is a Cheap Labor Express candidate, so was Walker and so is Carson.
Trump or Cruz or we lose the rule of law and the country.
BINGO!
2nd BINGO
I like Inhofe, but this endorsement of a lying, backstabbing, open-borders establishment toady seriously calls into question his judgment. Didn’t he also just vote for that obscene budget recently ?
Rubio are you kidding?
Used to live in OK. Inhofe is a conservative except for his love of government money on roads/infrastructure and to help the oil/nat gas industry. He was always big on making sure Oklahoma got its share of fed gov dollars for those pet projects.
Inhofe is probably going to retire at the next election. Like the other former OK senator, a physician whose name I forget, he was good in the beginning of his career but less reliable as time passed on, unlike Senator Helms, who never wavered in reliability.
Very disappointing.
Big big big disappointment. I have met Senator Jim briefly, and think the world of him. However, Rubio will be lucky to keep his seat next time around let alone be POTUS. McConnell and the E-GOP strikes again. I am so sick of DC, maybe it is time to walk away from politics and FR, what a flippin’ mess..
Inhofe voted for the largest tax increase in history with the fiscal cliff crap and had the nerve to call it the biggest tax cut. He is now, and always has been a big talker. When big votes come up, he votes with Mitch.
GOP-e for GOP-e. Not unexpected.
Tom Coburn.
This election has been great in smoking out the folks that are secret members of the country club republican crowd.
I will no longer even consider Rubio for the general, let alone the primary. He is a liar and a snake.
I respected Inhoffe a lot more when his propellers were falling off. I’m just a big Ted Cruz fan.
Inhofe is dead to me. I am an Okie. I will work against him.
Who cares? His endorsement of Rubio changes nothing. In the end Inhofe is your typical Republican hack.
