House Republicans said Tuesday that they will launch an election-year study of what they say has been executive overreach by President Barack Obama and other recent presidents.

House Judiciary Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte, R-Va., said that his panel would vote in coming weeks on creating a task force to conduct the investigation. Goodlatte said the probe would be led by Iowa Republican Rep. Steve King, a conservative and frequent Obama critic.

Goodlatte announced the examination at a time when Republicans have repeatedly accused Obama of exceeding his constitutional powers. ...

Uh-oh. Anything the GOPe tries to do to stop Obama’s final-year “fundamental change” will be called “partisan politics.”

That will scare them off. GOPe won’t lift a finger.

“His panel would vote in coming weeks on creating a task force to conduct the investigation”

Typical ridiculous bureaucratic B.S. - take weeks to ponder a vote to make a task force to have a bunch of time wasting meetings to decide to create a committee to gather information to ponder and discuss. I’m so sick of these twits. Throw the ALL out on their collective butts.

Concur. Overreach? Have they been completely asleep for the 7, almost 8 years?

Pathetic.

Will they investigate themselves, since they funded all of it and turned on any conservative Congressman who dared to oppose them doing so?

The House and Senate are in CYA mode. They know that their constituents are angry.

House GOP in election-year probe of presidential 'overreach'

I wonder how many expensive meals out these probes take?

I wonder how many nights in exotic hotels these probes take?

I wonder how many off sight meetings in luxurious locations these probes take?

I wonder how much research and use of contractors (in companies that congressmen have a vested interest in) these probes take?

We know the game now, these thieves have been revealed.
