The problem happens when Cruz sets up a narrative that doesn’t fit the actual events of his life. When he does that, it makes us wonder about his reasons for supporting the first TAP bill, not too long ago wanting H1B Visas increased by a multiple, says this in backroom discussions to deep-pocket donors that are skewed a bit differtly than what he says to us. etc
That comment by Cruz was incredibly dumb.
Trying to copy Trump’s brashness is only going to backfire.
Plus, going to university among the elite in the northeast part of the country doesn’t match with his rhetoric.
I like Cruz, but that one-liner was NOT GOOD for his candidacy.
