BREAKING: Episcopal Church suspended from Anglican Communion

The Anglican Communion voted to censure its American branch, the Episcopal Church, during a meeting in Canterbury, England, called to reflect on the future of the communion.
The vote Thursday (Jan. 14) to suspend the Episcopal Church from voting and decision-making for a period of three years was leaked a day ahead of a press conference that had been scheduled for Friday.

31 In three years, Schori will have to get recertified; both as a SCUBA diver and as an Anglican... Schori is no longer TEC's PB. Her 9-year term ended 11/01/2015. Her successor is the former bishop of the NC Diocese, Michael Curry. He is already floundering on his watch. He is black, but that won't "curry" any favor with the primates from the Southern Hemisphere who are orthodox.

And I thought the Anglican Church was even less Orthodox and more new age than the Episcopalian. I had that wrong. Reverse that and you'll have it right.

“sionnsar is smiling .........”
I had the pleasure of meeting him and his wife some years back. They came up and took communion at our start-up Anglican parish. Very nice people. God rest his soul, he is missed.

Finally !
They wanted sanctions against the Anglican Church of Canada for doing the same as TEC.
They didn’t get that but the reference to “Other Provinces” includes the ACoC.
