To Mike Dennehy, Jeb Bush is a lost cause, an opinion expressed on a near-daily basis by political pundits and shared by many here in the Granite State.
The state whose motto is "Live Free or Die" has quickly become do or die for former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush. The problem is, Bush may already be "dead" to most voters.
"So what do you think about Bush?" I asked Mike Dennehy, a GOP strategist with two-plus decades of experience in New Hampshire, over coffee Thursday morning.
"Boy, that's one of the saddest stories of the entire campaign," he responded.

The GOPe is so far gone, they really thought they could peddle this mope : )
I mean, when you make Ben Carson seem like the energizer bunny & combine that w/ the slumped, defeated, beat down by life look........well. He is the walking embodiment of the word pathetic.

If they ever go out and talk to actual voters they can avoid these embarrassing moments.
What is it a “sad story”? Jebbie deserves to los if anyone ever did. And I know Barbara disagrees with us.
Haha, they made her come and occupy a chair.
I don’t know anybody in New Hampshire who likes the idea of a family dynasty. Your last name doesn’t entitle you to the presidency, whether its Bush or Clinton. We got rid of that idea back in the 1700s.
John Adams and John Quincy Adams.
I guess it's sad if you can put yourself in Jeb's shoes and look at it from his own point of view. And if you go to his campaign appearances it might be hard not to feel a little sorry for him.
Plus, with all these guys there must have been some moment before things went wrong -- before "act of love" and "win without the base" and all that -- when you might even have thought Jeb might not turn out to be a horrible candidate or awful president.
There are politicians who might have been good candidates if they weren't who they are, but they just can't help being who they are.
Jeb's certainly mesmerized by his new Apple watch...
I will NEVER vote for Jeb! N.E.V.E.R.
The enthusiasm in that crowd is overwhelming.
~~The reason I'm talking to you today is that despite my ridiculously low polling I've taken in over 100 million dollars in donor money. I have to at least make it look like I'm trying or else there will be hell to pay so I want to take as long as possible to disperse those funds.~~
