Not everyone in New York is a far left liberal like Deblasio. I live in New York City and I am as conservative as they come. Anyone what makes political contributions to Ted Cruz PACS is clearly not a Deblasio, Cuomo, Daily News far left crazy kind of New Yorker.

Two of Cruz’s donors are social liberal gay libertarian billionaires from NYC.

They asked Cruz to bend on gay marriage and he said no, but expressed that repealing gay marriage wasn’t high on his agenda. Said if one of his daughters was gay he would love them just the same. They liked the answer enough and wrote the check.

There are some folks in New York who would like to change the values of the city, so they support a conservative. No story here, just some of Trump’s liberal supporters trying to hurt a Christian Conservative.

You know, last time I heard Goldman Sachs was operating big-time in an area Ted was trashing. Funny, they seemed to be pretty good folks for his wife to work for, or for him to take out loans from.

I guess that part of New York City wasn’t so bad after all.

Yes, Ted is just another of the many run of the mill politicians.

Fortunately, that problem will not arise, seeing that Cruz, not Trump will win the nomination.

The big donors are different. Small donors do so because they agree with him. Big donors expect quid pro quo. Someone who donates 11 million to a super PAC expects more than a thank you.

So as a Christian Conservative you have no issue of Ted taking money form gay libertarians one minute, then preaching the gospel to Iowans the next?

Thank you, SJ, for confirming that there are, in fact, conservatives living in NYC. Many CRuz supporters have argued just the opposite.

I have family in the city who are also conservatives. They are all in for Trump.

My two recent cabbies (Muslim) are also voting for “Mr Trump”!!

Like your man, you sidestepped the issue, proving both of my points. Thank you.

Cruz is being exposed as just another of many, run of the meal politician. Ted Cruz(R-Goldman Sachs)

Cruz took out a personal loan and paid it all back.

Trump used George Soros to fund his Chicago Tower to the tune of 160 million.

Not unless he is telling the gay libertarian that he supports his lifestyle. Otherwise no problem. Do you have a problem with Trump donating money to Hillary and Obama and then running as a supposed republican?

Yeah. True. We already know about Trump.

However, this is something we did not know about Cruz.

Goldman Sachs has give the Cruz campaign or PAC at least $70,000.

What does Goldman Sachs want in return

Cruz looks like a run of the mill politician.

Soros the migrant pimp scum bag HATES Trump, and for that alone I like Trump just a little bit more.

Cruz has a ‘live and let live’ policy with the gays. Read the article.

As far as Trump and Hillary... I believe his line that he did that to get preferential treatment as a businessman. If he REALLY wants to win me over though... Trump has to SINK his teeth into Hillary and rip her and Bill to shreds over Bill’s rapes.

If Trump does that I will drive down to Iowa and help caucus.

Nothing says ‘I dislike New York values’ quite like having a Goldman Sachs wife.

Oh puleeze!
Anyone can send money to anyone they like. Heck I am sure there are plenty of deluded Christians who have contributed money to the Hilary Clinton campaign for example.

Cruz has a constitutional approach where states have rights. Cruz wants to overturn Lawrence v TX but that does not make for successful fund raising and campaigning.

Sometimes I wish Free Republic had a probationary period.

It does. Every post I made for a month after signing up required moderator approval, before I was allowed to freely post.
