Last Wednesday night, an hour-long interview with Hillary Clinton, presumptive Democratic presidential nominee, aired on television. This alone is remarkable. Few candidates at this level, at this stage of the election cycle, grant any media outlet that much time.

Even more remarkable: This sit-down wasn't with "60 Minutes," Charlie Rose or "Meet the Press." Instead, Clinton took questions from little-known former rock 'n roll groupie and celebrity-hanger-on Amanda de Cadenet, who has a talk show on the Lifetime network.

Like Mrs. Clinton, my aged and infirm mother also will wear a coat indoors. She's always cold.

In Clinton's case, years of alcohol abuse, along with her recent brain injury episodes, have probably further accelerated her inability to regulate her body temperature.

The coat also helps to camouflage the bulky look likely owed to her use of incontinence undergarments (diapers).

I wish her all the best in her struggles with daily living. Aging can be tough.

Well, Mohammed Hussein Obama set a precedent when he agreed to an interview with GloZell Green, a "YouTube personality". For those not familiar with this person, she is a black woman who wears bright green lipstick, and has done a video of herself bathing in a tub full of milk and Froot Loops.

Obama showed the world how cool and "edgy" he is, so Hillary thinks she can do the same.
