Hate is a strong word and like love, most people think they feel that thing until they feel it for real and it’s Eureka moment. Hating someone requires far more energy than most people are willing to expend. jmho
I had an immediate reaction to Cruz the first time I saw him & heard him speak. (What’s up with *this* guy?)
But I’m pretty tuned in to dishonesty/ deception. When he started running for president, I started paying attention & at some point, last Spring, I started digging around. The stuff just keeps piling up.
I had written 2016 off until Trump announced. I wasn’t *skeptical* but listened to him for a little bit before I decided that I would definitely vote for him.
“So he’s saying he doesn’t know what he’s voting on?”
He’s saying that the order of votes on the Senate floor was changed and his staff told him it was another bill when in fact it was the crop insurance bill. So, they caught the error and he got his vote corrected before the roll call time expired. Sounds like a simple error! Of course, that’s more than enough for Kid Rubio to attempt to slime Cruz!
Crop insurance is subsidized by the government in lieu of picking up the tab in full in the case of a major disaster. Entire regions of farm crops can be wiped out by flood, draught, hail, fire. Without crop insurance, farmers would lose their land due to these disasters.
Do I smell “politician” Mr. Cruz?
