Who hired his staff? Trained them?

Crop insurance...???

Everyone favors crop insurance.

I don’t know enough about what was else was in the bill, but I think you are beating the previously determined dead horse again.

Wow! So he’s saying he doesn’t know what he’s voting on?

Cruz is supposed to be the smartest lawyer in the country.
His story is not credible.

Cruz once again playing games.

Geesh, why does he always do this? Then he blames his staff or says everybody else is lying.

So weird.

Was the way Cruz voted on the crop insurance contrary to his stated position? Otherwise, looks like an honest mistake. Would have been nice if he'd said it was an easy mistake to happen that his team might miss, but --

Cruz also said once he realized his mistake he changed his vote back again. I don’t know if that is true or not, but I do know he said it. That should be easy enough to check

So he needed Pat Roberts to tell him,” This will hurt you in Iowa?” Yeah, Pat Roberts is lying.

“Either Cruz is lying or Pat Roberts is lying. “

Both stories are consistent.

Neither one is lying. Cruz’s staff apologized for the error. Sometimes, in the Senate, the order of the voting gets flipped from what it was originally. This time Cruz’s staff didn’t catch it. Cruz had never intended to vote any other way on crop insurance. His previous record supports that.

I am not a fan of Wallace. He is a friend of Mike Gallegher and appears regularly on Mike's show. Mike is the son of Dan Wallace and follows in his footsteps with utter disregard for the truth unless it fits his left wing world view. Lastly, that voice, that voice!!! It is reminiscent of nails on a chalkboard a hundred fold!

Who to believe? Cruz or Pat "fossilized RINO" Roberts?

That's easy...

that was not an interview, it was an interrogation. Wallace did his very best to maliciously and trap Ted Cruz with virtually every sentence. I was so disgusted I wanted to throw my flip flop at the TV. ic Wallace pull this crap all the time. Snide little bastard

LOL, I can’t watch the video right now but sometime Cruz really needs to man up and not blame someone else.

Clintonesque comes to mind.

Nothing that goes wrong is EVER addressed in first person terms with Ted.

The missing report of loans to proper authorities, point to generic filing done, but not in terms of “I” failed to file...

Cruz points “over there” at Donald, who was born in the USA to a citizen mother, rather than address the issue of Cruz’ own citizenship, undeniably Canadian until 18 months ago, because he was born in Canada, as a Canadian, to Canadian citizen parents.

Rubio was born in the USA also.

FWIW, “Natural” originally meant ties to the “land” of birth, and originally that context defined Natural Born Citizenship, according to Tribe’s interesting argument, explaining that that the definition has changed, even as recently as the 60’s, and has over the decades become an “open question”, constitutionally.

All I hear is how smart Cruz is. He has two Ivy League degrees...

Yet others managed to understand what they voted for, but Cruz did not - nor does he have a smart staff to help him.

5 times that Ted Cruz swears he didn't change his mind

-Snip-

"Roberts indicated that Cruz knew what he was voting on and had been persuaded to change his mind. Roberts said he had told Cruz that a "no" vote might hurt his prospects in the presidential race. It was the kind of appeal to which any politician might respond.

"There was a little matter that there was a state called Iowa that he might want to think about,” Roberts recalled saying, as Politico reported. Other reporters also heard Roberts tell the same story about persuading Cruz to change his vote by referencing Iowa..."

LOL... Well, NOOB, if you actually went to the linked video you’d see that it was a mistake (CORRECTED WITHIN 3 MINUTES). Has YOUR candidate made a mistake and recognized (and CORRECTED) it within 3 minutes.

This is PRETTY THIN GRUEL to use as a “hit piece”.
