When I say “highly intelligent people don’t rely on others to make their decisions”, I didn’t mean they don’t consult with others, the most qualified, to get their input. But at the end, they make the decision and take ownership of it. They don’t go back and blame others when it doesn’t work out.

When I say "highly intelligent people don't rely on others to make their decisions", I didn't mean they don't consult with others, the most qualified, to get their input. But at the end, they make the decision and take ownership of it. They don't go back and blame others when it doesn't work out.

When I complain about essential dishonesty, you question me: where?

I tell you, show you. What do you do? You come back to me with yet another essentially dishonest reply.

You never said "highly intelligent people don't rely on others to make their decisions," did you? You said "Highly intelligent people don't rely on others." Period. Nothing whatsoever in there about making decisions. There never was any issue about "decisions" in the first place either. The issue was about making a mistake, not a decision. Nobody made a decision to make a mistake. That's absurd.

Then you went on to say in your first comments "They form their own opinions." I didn't challenge this statement because it is true. Irrelevant to the discussion, but true nonetheless.

Your post has another instance of dishonesty, but this time it isn't yours. You quote another poster, a "miss marmelstein" who had said "On TPP, he told Chris Wallace that underlings misled him." I already have taken her to ask for the use of the word "misled". I should have also scolded her for the use of the insulting term "underlings" Ted Cruz never used that word. He referred to "my team" and "my staff" who were assisting him with that morning's votes. Miss Marmelstein was dishonestly trying to make people think that Ted Cruz referred to his staff in this kind of insulting way. He did not.

Nor did he "blame", or criticize them. Cruz merely explained in a clear and factual way what had happened. No blame asserted or fault assigned. A simple mistake was made and corrected. This sort of trivial thing happens millions of times a day, all over the world and folks don't get their knickers in a twist over it.
