I think the idea was to draw Iowa Cruz supporters (conservatives), and it might accomplish that. I like her, but 2008 showed that she wasn’t a national draw - too many women voted for a foreign Muslim mulatto over her ticket.
He should be second guessing his attack that was a bridge too far in the debate. Stick to the issues, don’t get into a pi—ing match on “NY values” on the stage on live TV in front of a national audience that do not really know you that well, but they all know Donald Trump. It would’ve worked in Iowa on a stump speech, but not there. Trump is 25 years his senior and has battled with “killers” (Trump’s words) in high finance and cut throat business his entire life. Cruz has battled with Mitch McConnell. Totally different league and it showed. Cruz had the momentum and was smacked like a gnat because he went for a kill shot that backfired. There’s time for him to recover, but he and his team need to regroup quickly. If he prevails in Iowa and can get traction, he may have a shot at prolonging it and making it more contested. If he loses, it’s probably game over.
I am SO going to steal that!
Now that Sarah Palin has endorsed Donald Trump, many fans of Ted Cruz are now going to say she is a liberal and that her voice is like nails on a chalkboard.
It's all so very predictable.
I just want the Cruz supporters who worshipped Palin, but now detest her because she endorsed Trump, to STOP pissing and moaning when Donald Trump changes his mind over his lifetime.
Many of them in the last few days have used a reason to support Cruz is that Palin endorsed him in 2012.
I soured on Palin after a few months of really listening to her just like I did Cruz.
Whatever I think of her, it’s a great strategic move for Trump. She’d make a good Secretary of Interior. He’s too smart to pick her for VP.
Well, not quite right. I talked with my brother 15 minutes ago who lives in Iowa and his wife has now come over to the Trump side after watching Sarah's speech on CNN.
I like Sarah, but VP? No. That would be a mistake, Donald.

Cruz is now going to drag Glenn Beck around with him, in Iowa, which SHALL lose him even MORE votes, than he would have anyway.

The charges are assault, having deadly weapon while intoxicated. I read he was going to commit suicide with that semi-automatic rifle. He is being held without bail until tomorrow, Wednesday. It happened in Sarah’s home. Maybe she can make a side trip home to get him out of jail, then return to travel Iowa with Trump.
Big deal what her kids do. He is a grown man.
Trump just won Iowa because of Sarah and now will win all 50 states for nomination.
Trump said he would make her Energy Secretary - a cabinet post.
LOL. The primaries are over. Coverage of Trump and the Palin endorsement will dominate the news cycle for the next week. The other campaigns will get no coverage. Trump will take Iowa.
Cruz knows this and already ran off to New Hamphire but the folks there have New York values. Cruz is done. Time to say good bye.
Always sensed there was something amiss about Palin, but could not put my finger on it. It’s a spiritual issue in her case, and she has now been exposed.
Doesn’t it tick you off though that in this country when it comes to women, a completely corrupt lying pathetic piece of garbage like Hillary is propped up as a champion of the people everywhere while Palin is ostracized simply because she is conservative? The double standard is absolutely astounding. It may cost Trump votes, but I would love to see him pick her as VP and then point out this double standard in his own inimitable way, it would drive the left absolutely, completely out of their freakin’ minds!
