Come on you know why DC was impractical, Tesla killed that off early on.

Tesla cars run on DC (yes, being an engineer, I do know who he was). Soon virtually all lighting will be DC. Houses running on solar panels will want separate low voltage DC circuits. Tesla, Inc. is introducing large batteries for home backup power. All DC. Get with reality: things change. We now have the computing power to automate even contracts for real estate options, real time.

I would be all for DC in the home if we could afford it, but we can't. Solar panels are not free and batteries are very expensive, and the sun doesn't shine everywhere like Palm Desert, CA. Ohms law is still a law and room temperature super conductors are still wishful thinking and Pons and Fleischman still doesn't work, but when they do, the government will be involved and we do not have to like it, but we will have to accept it.

Do you have any notion of what we were arguing about? I think you were assigning the evil eminent domain to Trump exclusively, and I merely suggested it was evil but necessary. I don't know if you think it is inherently evil or just Trump is evil for being in favor of it?

I am not a Trumpster, just someone that recognizes that he will beat Cruz. You will figure out why soon enough.

I (rightly) was referring to Trump's preference for his version of it, which is to interpret "public use" for the benefit of private developers, which is exactly what Kelo was about. By "private developers" I'm including the kind of eminent domain Lincoln facilitated in Illinois, such as railroads, toll roads, and canals.

I merely suggested it was evil but necessary.

When retained for Constitutional purposes it's fine: "forts, dock yards, arsenals, magazines, and other needful buildings." Not 'shopping malls, casinos, golf courses, hotels, and other uses that make Trump richer.'
