Thank you for saying this. I am in complete agreement and have been thinking similar things for some time. In the end we will all enter the voting booth and vote for the candidate that we believe will govern the country best. The ugly exchanges you mention are no more than the “my lunch ( political candidate) is better than yours” whining you might find at a kindergarten lunch table. Bravo, and thanks for the post. It needed to be said.

Exactly! I used to teach in the public schools but am now just teaching my own kids. The fights here remind me of bullies on a playground. It will pass. We’ll all vote eventually for whomever we feel is best. None of this bickering is going to win hearts and minds.
