You may be right. Even if it hits DC area as forecast, it will be of historic proportions. The upside is that the timing of the storm is such that most people will be home for the weekend, so that crews can hopefully keep the roads clear.

Thanks. I just hope the naysayers are right, and this won't be any worse than 2010/93/96. Actually, I would like a repeat of those storms -- especially living in a semi-rural, secluded area. A repeat of the Knickerbocker, or the Washington-Jefferson storm? Not so good.
