Nasty conditions from Carolinas to Maine. Some areas could have high tide problems along with strong winds. Power outages likely. Have fun. Not as bad as the infamous Ash Wednesday storm over 50 years ago. Glad I did my food shopping on Monday and ice on Tuesday. Have my flashlight, must remember to pull out my box of candles and put a gallon of water in the freezer to keep the refrigerator part cold in case of electric. Glad it won’t be seriously cold. One year electric went out 2f degrees. Eighteen pipe breaks on two outside walls. Keep your water dripping, or drain the system if long outage and very cold.

Yep. I went to my store last night (in exurban Maryland) — not a lot of empty shelves. People are less panicky where I live.

Preppers PING!! Preppers never have to worry about this! Hat tip to SkyPilot and Tolerance Sucks Rocks for the heads up. I saw this, but to tell you the truth I didn't post it because I was just tired of the snide (as Trump would say real nasty guy) anti-preppers or just plain a-h@!#$ that have now flooded FR. FR was when I joined this place like the Cheers Bar it was a fun place to go, now it has gotten to be like the Bar from Star Wars:
"Whatever you do, don't stare."
"At what?"
"Any of it."

That last pic with the shelves and food on the floor must be after the ferals went through. Hmm, looks like that first one has the same lazy employees as there is food behind the dairy case that no one has bothered to restock. That’s lost profits. Lost profits means no pay raises and lay offs.
The one with the cheese looks like my store every day. Can’t get the pics off my phone to post.

The store shelves just like they do in any place where a hurricane is forecasts to hit!
