I used to see as you do, but lately Ive come to see the truth and love in what you claim Sammy said.

each choice (sandwich) makes a difference in the long run. moment of weakness vs strength of character and truly the right choice for the best outcome. (was a life long binge/impulsive/compulsive eater until 2 months ago)

We need leaders and people to actually take action to get things done, step by step or leap by leap if possible. not people who will stand firm on principle and just alienate majority of those who were supposed to be on his side as well as the other side too.

It’s all about mindset and UNEMOTIONAL thinking/choice making. Turmp does that well in his dealings. I agree - he’s not so great in his campaigning talk where he is more social and off the cuff, but I saw another link on fr about how he says he will not talk so much and be very business minded as president.

Well the entire GOPe is saying that they prefer Trump to Cruz, that doesn't suggest anything?

Yeah, it suggests they've finally realized the only chance they have of stopping Trump is to publicly praise him.

Let Jeb, Beck, and the paid mouthpieces attack him while the people pretending they're on the sidelines until after there's a nominee praise him.

Ted rolled over on TPA so they know that when push comes to shove they can play ball with Ted.

With Trump, they have no idea what he'll do and don't want to find out.

Well, good luck. It’s a hard battle and can only be won one bite at a time.

I’m lucky enough that I don’t have a real weight problem but my husband could not stand an ounce of fat anywhere. He watched me like a hawk.

When we were dating, we were playing tennis and I had a real good cross court shot that nobody could return. I hit that to him and he was so enraged, he shouted, “You’re Fat!”

I wasn’t but I was not up, I mean, down to his standards.

Well the dear old thing is gone now and I’ve gained that ten pounds I always wanted but I would rather have him back.

:) yes I remember and your words ring as childishly bullying as when obama said “we won!”

I actually would like a much more conservative country, but realistically, I know the country as a whole is not. Also the republicans in office largely are not conservative.

It seems to me, some steps in the responsible direction for our country with a man who is very much wanting to help our country in that direction is better than for me to push for a more conservative man who cannot even get along with fellow republicans in the senate, let alone others in leadership or a large portion of USA citizens! How will he get anything accomplished? EO’s like obama?

I don’t believe I said obama reached across the aisle. and agree he did not in the least.

I’m just realistic that our country as a whole is a mixture of people with various view points. Anyone who thinks it can be all liberal or all conservative is kidding themselves.

The republican party would fall in line, behind a new conservative leadership. The liberals in the Republican party don't want to loose that power. I have no sympathy for them.

It is a lie that is pushed in every election... we must compromise to keep the liberals happy. That should be no more. It is not childish to be principled and firmly believe that this country has been taken in a Godless direction and a dramatic correction is desperately needed to be done.
