Chris Matthews was eviscerating Eliana Johnson making the point that the people who were attacking Trump in the National Review were all Neocons. She had a hard time refuting that claim. The Neocons are also widely considered to be in the globalist camp.

It should surprise no one that Ms. Johnson was serving as a Research Associate at the Council on Foreign Relations from November 2006 - July 2008 (1 year 9 months)
during the tenure of .... you guessed it, Heidi Cruz. isn’t it weird how it seems everyone is tied together?

Fair disclosure: I don't watch Chris Matthews.

However, your comment about the incestuous relationships between politicians and journalists/commentators is certainly valid.

They're all part of the political ruling class.

Thomas Sowell is a neocon? Ed Meese a neocon? Andrew McCarthy? Mark Helprin? Cal Thomas? Sorry, but Trump lovers are wrong on this, and they are simply accelerating the decline of the nation.

NR isn't always right, but they're dead on here.
