Steady wind speed but changes direction.
Nothing really accumulated here yet.
And surprise surprise, the road crews were actually out salting BEFORE the snow got bad.
(This is 180° out from previous observed activity from the road crews. They usually wait. Seemingly until the first few accidents get reported.)
They were salting like mad here, before yesterday.
Up on the mountain is the best place to drive.
A salt truck had a spinner malfunction and dumped what looks like a half ton in one 30 foot long line.
Pity it was halfway over the shoulder.
I miss the old days of studded tires and gravel put on the road.
