Jeff [rey Lord] is calling for a Trump-Cruz ticket.
Maybe Jeff didn't get the memo, but Trump has been arguing that Cruz isn't qualified to be President because of his Canadian birth. In which case, if Cruz isn't eligible to be President then how can he be eligible to be VP?

RUSH: Well, you know what, now, since you bring up that whole thing of veep and VP, it reminds me. I was wasn’t gonna make a big deal, it’s only two people, it’s purely anecdotal, but I’ve had a couple people tell me that would be a dream ticket. A couple people who don’t want to have to make the choice of one or the other, would love one of those guys to be at the top of the ticket and the other guy to be the VP. A couple people told me that. No, not golf buddies. Just others. But maybe more. And others are obviously thinking about it, given the nature here of Nick’s call.
They are both amazing men!
I want them on the same ticket!
I hope Cruz gets a declaratory judgement on the NBC quickly...it HAS to be done or the Democrats will tear him apart with the issue :-/
I do not want Trump to make a poor VP pick the way Reagan did :-(
The world would be very different if Reagan had chosen a man more like himself as VP.
I also want several of the Republican nomination candidates to be given choice spots in a Trump administration....some of them are very worthy..IMO.
My. My.
I think Trump is ‘outing’ the Cruz Canada issue now so it gets resolved early and is not a factor in the general.
I believe Cruz is at the top of The Donald’s (I use the name “The Donald” with great affection). VP list. The Donald wants to get the eligibility matter cleaned up before things get down to the convention. He cannot have the eligibility matter up in the air. Believe it or not, both consider each other as friends, and would be a perfect match in the executive office and the country.
Incredible! You beat me to it! I am saying the same thing!
Trump/Cruz 2016!
Trump could probably argue that he rather Cruz fight the legal battle as VP than President
Judges need to be careful because if Cruz is not eligible then automatically Obama is not eligible either because Obama didn’t come have 2 natural born American parents, only 1

This guy meticulously destroys all the lying memes about Trump.
What you say is true!
Politics is a blood sport and much is said and done in the heat of a campaign.
I have seen men fight before and come out the other side as friends.... often more than mere friends! Blood-Brothers in fact.
Trump's praised Chuck Shumer, saying we should work with Democrats; He's praised and donated to the Clintons."
....."I mean, I've contributed to Schumer, I contribute - I've known Schumer for many, many years. And I have a good relationship with him. The fact is, that I think it is time maybe that we all do get along," [Trump] told Hannity."...Source
ANSWER: The eligibility requirements for Vice President of the United States are identical to those for President of the United States. Ergo: Someone who is not eligible to be President is likewise ineligible to be Vice President.
Case closed!
Regards,
P.S. It is true that individuals much farther down the ladder of succession (e.g., Secretary of State Kissinger, who was foreign-born) need not be eligible - but (in the case of, e.g., cabinet members) they are not elected to their positions, and if they do not fulfill the three Constitutional eligibility requirements, they cannot succeed to the Office of President.
No, Trump’s actual statements contradict the myth his campaign had manufactured for him.
Exactly.
Trump most certainly is NOT perfect. (who is)
He is the master of ‘The Deal’
I size him up as a business-is-business type of guy who will stretch the truth, connive, manipulate and do whatever is necessary to make the deal.
In a more normal world, in a world in which our nations very existence was not at stake I would not support a Donald Trump. But in the real world we live in he may be our last chance... he may be the best flawed man for the job at hand.
A Gideon raised up to rescue us from our folly.
IMO he is flawed and not entirely conservative... and he is the only guy with a real chance to defeat the corrupt democrat regime... he will fight tooth and nail... a no-holds-barred election the likes of which we have never seen.
