Uh, this doesn’t make any sense. The NR could have posted 22 hate Cruz screeds to stop him.
But they didn’t and now the Cruz camp is trying to pretend what is and was, isn’t and wasn’t. LOL. nobodyn was buying it anyway, so this is not necessary.
Gohmert is an awful liar. He does better at the truth.
The rat will take out Cruz a lot more easily than Trump. I suspect reverse psychology going on here.
What has Gohmert lied on? As far as we’ve ever seen he’s always stood for Consevatism on principle. As I recall he was one of the top around here of who peoplw were calling on for Speaker.

There is no Republican who takes to the floor of the House more regularly than Rep. Gohmert does to rally conservative votes or hold the GOP leadership's feet to the fire. From defunding Planned Parenthood, to the IRS targeting of conservatives, to border security and sanctuary cities, more often than not the leading conservative spokesman is Texas Representative Louie Gohmert.

So now Gohmert is a liar too. He must be the last outlier to be tarred with the Trumpeter brush.
NR isn't the establishment. They're right wing zealots - scribblers trying to attract the attention of the establishment - big GOP donors and elected politicians who are mainly concerned about looking out for their personal interests. It's clear why the GOP establishment has come out for Trump - Trump's record of political stances ranging from one end of the political spectrum to the other speaks for itself. The man is infinitely flexible in his political beliefs. Now that's a man the GOP establishment can deal with, and in fact prefers, because they can look conservative compared to him.
Already, even before the primary has actually started, I believe you have insulted every Conservative serving in the House, Senate, and retired folks, as well as every conservative talking head, writer, blogger, and perhaps some that have not yet been born.
That is quite a accomplishment!
