There are about 300 prosecutors in the Harris County D.A.’s office. I have read elsewhere that this assistant was recused from working on this case. If that turns out to be true, there won’t be an issue.
This would go deeper than individual recusal, I fear. It would go to a question why are they associating with these folks in the first place.
