Trump has changed the Dynamic in Iowa.

The old way, tried and true, was to go to diners and hardware stores and maybe churches and meet and greet one on one. The voters daily routines are not disrupted. It was retailing on the mom and pop level

Trump has said, I’m going to follow Walmart and reinvent retail by having gatherings in large venues where the people come to me. He has shown that in fact, the people or at least many of them, like to go somewhere in the winter and be a part of the growing crescendo that is Trump

only about 4% of the state population ended up voting last time. A fairly small increase derived from the well attended meetings can make a large proportional difference
