Corporations don’t pay taxes. Their customers pay taxes.

Tax them all you want. You pay the tax, not them.

A carbon tax is a hidden sales tax on consumer-use commodities. Some taxing authorities would call this an “excise tax” but the fact remains, it is built into the price of the product being sold, and ultimately the consumer pays the tax.

Kind of like taxing rainwater that you capture and keep to water your lawn during times of drought.
