Seven GOP presidential candidates will debate in New Hampshire on Saturday evening in their only debate before the first-in-the-nation New Hampshire primary on Tuesday.
, looking to sustain his momentum after his Iowa win, will be joined by New Hampshire frontrunner Donald Trump, who will return to the stage after skipping Fox News’s Iowa debate, Dr. Ben Carson.
, Ohio Governor John Kasich, former Florida Governor Jeb Bush, and New Jersey Governor Chris Christie. Carly Fiorina did not qualify for the debate though she, unlike Christie, actually won some delegates in Iowa.
Expect plenty of fireworks because the campaigns of Messrs. Kasich, Bush, and Christie are on the line on Tuesday. Bush, Christie, and Kasich have to draw contrasts among themselves while trying to peel away support from Rubio, who is gaining momentum nationally and in New Hampshire.
The non-establishment side of the bracket will not lack drama either. This week on the campaign trail, Trump questioned the legitimacy of Cruz’s Iowa win while a livid Carson demanded some heads roll in the Cruz campaign after the Cruz campaign told its supporters to erroneously tell caucus-goers that Carson was dropping out of the race.

Rubio seems increasingly like a robot programmed to sprout certain answers by his handlers. He lacks authenticity. And he did terribly.
That was hilarious. What a light weight, amnesty loving joke rinio was. He is GONE!!Thank you to our new VICE PRESIDENT!!! BUILD THE WALL AND CLOSE THE BRIDGE!!
Rubio will probably drop out within a week.
I believe i can see complete resignation in his eyes, not POTUS material.
Christie is a fighter that’s for sure. He and Trump are both bold, brash, no nonsense types - the governor of Maine, Paul LePaige is the same way. Must be something in that Northeaster water. I just wish Christie were more conservative on some issues.
Christie nailed him at the start on his robotic Obama line to avoid answering t=tough questions, and then on Gang of 8, and throughout on not taking responsibility like a governor has to.
I really liked it when Rubio said Christie didn’t want to return to NJ for the recent snowstorm (which Chrisite in fact did), and Chrisitie hit back, “You didn’t even vote for your own Gang of 8 bill.”
If only.
Don’t expect it to hurt him much though if any. He can smooth over his performance before the vote.
Thumbs up!
Was it my TV or did Rubio start to perspire?
He was drinking a lot of water.
“Rubio will probably drop out within a week.”
No, he will return to Ground Control and they will feverishly try to tweak his chip before the next public appearance.
One of several concerns I have about Rubio is his tendency towards stage fright and flopsweat when pressed hard. Cruz has ice water in his veins. Trump will give it right back to someone without skipping a beat or batting an eye. Christie just plain loves smashmouth politics. Marco has some great prepared lines, but he can flounder badly when forced off script, so to speak.
That’s not my only concern about Rubio, of course. He’s not my guy at all. I’m just sayin’ it looks like he’s got a real Achilles heel on the debate stage.
Some electroconvulsive therapy and Rubot will be right as rain.
lol
Marco is a big bag of nothing. He had has surge, just as Carson and Carly only to quickly fade once exposed.
I think Christie is going to surprise a lot of people on Tuesday.
