CNN is not only desperate to absolve itself of its legitimate responsibility for spreading the false idea that Dr. Ben Carson was dropping out of the presidential race last week, CNN is also hoping to complete a three-bank shot that will damage Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) in the process. Saturday night, CNN went so far as to have their phony left-wing "fact-checker" Tom Foreman lie about Cruz.
For all of this to make sense, let's start at the beginning...

If Cruz does not finish first in NH, it will be because of the Carson scandal.

It is very sad that so many so-called conservatives on FR would prefer the lie to linger than for the truth to come out on this faux outrage story.
Cruz tried... but he was up against a mountain. ANY new President will be up against that same brick wall. If TRUMP thinks he can penetrate it with deals, he is in for a BIG SHOCK.

Here is what happened. Someone in the Carson campaign knew Carson was going to drop out and told a reporter at CNN under condition of anonymity, CNN reported the leak, and now CNN is protecting their source within what was the Carson campaign.
Would not surprise me if the source within the Carson campaign also leaked it to person high up in the Cruz campaign.
I honestly think he can get the deals moreso then Cruz can. The reason is because Trump is very persuasive and has a ton of integrity. Cruz is very negative in his talking and his integrity is not compromised.

This is reasonable language based on what Tapper said to Bash, “...to be announcing that you’re going to go home to rest for a few days, not going on to the next site.”
No, no, it is not reasonable language based on what Tapper said. It is outrageous spin for the writer to claim it is. The most reasonable thing to take away from that is that Carson is going home for some cause, and if it needed interpretation, it would be that he was possibly ill.
Suspending a campaign just as the fruits of his effort is about to take place is so far out that it is insulting for them to maintain the idiocy.
Rush still is trying to cover for Cruz’s duplicity, calling it “silliness”. Is Carson and his wife being silly because they were outraged about it? It wasn’t so long ago that Rush was at a loss for words trying to convey to everyone what a great human being Carson is.

Real answer: They knew they were lying from the start. That is why they didn’t contact the Carson campaign.
CNN ... now the holy and beloved source for people who are afraid of Ted Cruz.

You got two things wrong:
1. You’re not sorry, and
2. Cruz is not doomed.

It’s not really about Cruz at all.
The Trump people are so obsessed with Trump and they are scared spitless that Cruz will beat him.
On the one hand, they brag about how he can’t lose.
On the other hand, they are so afraid that Cruz will overtake him that they resort to believing and disseminating any lies that anyone can think of about Cruz.
Apparently, this phony Sanders thing is all they have now.
Facts do not matter anymore.
This thing has been explained over and over.
It has been put to bed, tucked in, the covers pulled up, a bedtime story read... and they still have nothing else.
They have to drag it out and slap it awake. Kinda pathetic.

Carson is demonstrably outraged. Will it hurt him too?
You can’t say Cruz is not doomed. If he gets 5th or 6th, it is going to be a big time hurt for him. He already is far behind Trump in South Carolina and Carson has been polling very good in South Carolina which takes Cruz’s votes......that would be Karma if the reason Cruz loses South Carolina is because Cruz took just the right amount for him to get 2nd.
Why didn't Carson call his precinct captains?

“He definitely isn’t a Christian”
I’ve read many posts on FR lately from posters who are saying Cruz is not a Christian. How does one know? Well, some are saying they know because he produces bad fruit.
Honestly, I wouldn’t suggest it, but we could all point fingers at other Christians at any given point in time and accuse them of producing bad fruit / not practicing what they preach / not walking the talk ... but just because someone says we’re producing bad fruit, doesn’t make it so.
Have you ever talked about others, as in gossip - have you ever wanted what belongs to someone else - have you ever said things you know are wrong - have you ever mistreated others or thought about it - have you made fun of someone’s looks - have you ever accused someone falsely? If so, you can be assured, someone is ready to point the finger and accuse you of living the life of a false Christian.
Cruz publicly acknowledges his Christianity. He professes publicly his human failings and his need for a Savior. He understands the need of seeking forgiveness from G-d, and he’s willing to ask others to forgive him, all in full view of the public.
This is all good fruit. But instead of recognizing it as such, he’s said to produce bad fruit ... he’s called names, such as Elmer Gantry ... and he’s accused of not being a Christian.
The question is, are you accusing him of not being a Christian based on something you know as truth? Are you positive? Is there any room at all for doubt?
If one day in the future, you were asked to give account for your words against another Christian, would you be able to justify the accusations as truthful?
If you’re a Christian — no matter who you support in this election — say your peace in some other way, but for your own sake, please use wisdom.
[To top it all off, he can’t seem to win. Because if he doesn’t recite a scripture, he’s then said to be an Iowa Christian]
Again, I ask you: Why didn’t CNN use its powerful broadcast center or massive Twitter presence to tell its viewers the full story
You sure do expect a lot out of people. Those pie in the sky, pollyannish ideals, you know, truthfulness, honesty, doing the right thing...that made this country great are long gone.
