You are both 100% correct.
The most violent behavior is observed from those constantly yammering about tolerance, diversity, peace, and coexistence.
If I display bumper stickers, they are put in a plastic sleeve that attaches inside the glass with suction cups.
They are always removed from view when my vehicles are parked.

Of course, one could also simply put a note under their windshield wiper stating:
"I am sure that you don't want to be considered to be a mind-numbed idiot by other people on the road, so I'd like to point out that you might want to remove the Hillary/Bernie/Sanders sticker that someone put on your rear bumper."
