"I'm not sure that that answer would satisfy an anxious young voter..."

I'm not sure that this is a rational, acceptable answer for ANY voter who mistakenly thinks that one of his or her most cherished rights and civic responsibilities -- voting for candidates to represent them -- means anything in today's America.

The bigger tragedy is that the Republican party seems to be scheming in similar ways to ignore the choice of the people.

This NH situation and the questionable tactics against Dr. Carson in Iowa are teaching younger voters that their vote doesn't count. Whatever folks might think about Sanders and Trump, they should give them credit for waking up US citizens, across the political spectrum.

Jeb and Kasich are way too confident that Trump will not be the nominee. There's no doubt that there's a scheme to steal the nominations for the elite, both political parties. If both parties don't wake up, the conventions could get out of control with a stolen nomination.

The head scratching thing is that the Dems, if they just played fair, would probably not have to worry about Sanders getting nominated. The Republicans?....it's not a head scratching thing that the elite could try to steal the nomination. After the US Senate primary was stolen for Cochran, there's no doubt about how the party elite feel about their voting fodder.

That is the bitter truth. My "crazy" friends who have always argued that our Two Party System is a rigged game don't seem so crazy anymore. There is a revolution brewing on both sides and one of them will eventually prevail. Either way, manipulated emotions will trump philosophy and what is left of our once-great Republic will be swept away.
