If Cruz had the CRBA he would have been showing this document on every news outlet 24/7...there is a reason why he doesn't and there is a reason why there is so much controversy on it...

I feel Trump wanted him as his V.P. but when the Washington Reporter asked Trump about Cruz's birther, Trump replied he didn't know, and I don't think Trump did know at that time, since then, however, he has some knowledge, don't know what it is, but there is something...

So my question is: If you have information that can clear you of something like this, show it, unless you can't or it would remove you from a position your in...IMHO....

This explains why Rafael chooses to only deport criminals...If Cruz came to the US without his papers...it would be tough to have a Cruz administration send back those people who came without theirs.

Whenever I listen to Rafael speak or read his positions, I’m looking for what lawyers refer to as “the carve out”, to figure out what he is excluding.

http://www.businessdictionary.com/definition/carveout.html
Meaning “Exception to a rule, severance from a unit, or a parallel or secondary agreement based on a primary agreement.”

for example...his policy states...

“Ted Cruz will end Obama’s amnesty on day one, will end catch-and-release, increase deportations, stop sanctuary policies, and strengthen E-verify.”
https://www.tedcruz.org/issues/secure-the-border/

Yet when you dive deeper to look up his stance on deportation he states:

“Peaceful, law-abiding immigrants will be welcomed in the United States, but criminal immigrants will not receive quarter. A Cruz Administration will:
Find criminal immigrants: Instruct the Secretary of Homeland Security to identify all criminal illegal immigrants in state or local custody and issue detainers for those illegal immigrants while their deportations are processed.

Deport criminal immigrants: Recommit the federal government to deporting all illegal immigrants who commit crimes – and make use of all available tools to deport criminal immigrants as quickly as possible.”

https://www.tedcruz.org/cruz-immigration-plan/

The Cruz campaign made up the meme “Touch back amnesty” meaning Trump said deport them all and allow some to come back LEGALLY.

What does the Cruz campaign mean when it states “Deport criminal immigrants?

Sure sounds like a carve out to me.

Back in the 70s and 80s, all you needed was a birth certificate to travel between Canada and the US.
I used to travel to Canada on business and only used a bc, no passport reqd.

If they tried and failed, there is another problem they need to deal with. I do not know the situation. Cruz himself and his parents may be the only ones who do.

“At birth, by being born to an American parent!”

Births have to be legally verified.

Obama’s mentor, William Ayers, was part of a terrorist organization that bombed government facilities.

From the official document regarding CBRA's...
US Immigration

Report of Birth Abroad

May 25, 2012

When a child is born to US citizens, that child is automatically a US citizen, even if the child is born outside the country and remains outside the US. However, in order to adopt all the rights of US citizenship - such as a passport - a family must claim the US citizenship. The child is already considered a US citizen in most cases, but the citizenship must be confirmed and made official before the child can claim any rights of citizenship.

This process can be a little complicated if someone is born to US parents outside the US and decides at some future point to visit the US. The US does not issue visas to US citizens, so in most cases the citizenship status needs to be sorted out before a visa application can be processed. If a person has a claim to US citizenship, it is better to apply for citizenship than a visa, since a visa application will generally be rejected due to the citizenship status of the applicant.

If someone is born to US parents outside the US, the process of confirming and claiming US citizenship is relatively simple. Usually, the applicant must prove that the US citizen parent or US citizen parents were present physically for a specific period of time in the US before the birth. Generally, the parent or parents who have US citizenship must have been in the US for at least five years before the child is born, and at least two of those years must have been after the parents were at least 14 years old. The parents do not need to have been citizens of the US while living in the US. When applying for citizenship, it must also be demonstrated that the parents were US citizens at the time of the child's birth and that they were the child's parents. Once all of this has been proven, the applicant will be issued a US passport and a Consular Report of Birth Abroad (CRBA). To apply for a US passport and a CRBA, applicants should turn to the US embassy in their country of origin. There is a $100 fee for a CBRA and a $105 fee for a child passport.

In cases where a child's parents obtained citizenship after the child's birth and in cases where a child's parents are US citizens but do not meet US residency requirements, the child cannot claim US citizenship via a CBRA. Instead, he or she must apply for a visa. The same is true of step-children of US citizens.

The significance of this report will be made clear in tonight’s debate.

Trump will not mention it at all.

He knows enough to not look like an idiot about something ludicrous like this report.
