Pro-amnesty and mass migration advocate Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-SC) 86% tried to argue that Florida Senator Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) 79% is more conservative than Alabama Senator Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL) 80% .
As South Carolina’s Post and Courier Deanna Pan reports via twitter: “Gowdy notes that Rubio has higher Heritage ratings than Jeff Sessions and Rep. Steve King (R-IA) 79% . ‘There is no one more conservative than Marco Rubio.'â€
Jeff Sessions has been the fiercest opponent of Sen. Rubio’s open borders trade and immigration agenda. By contrast, in 2013— at a time when illegal minors were continuing to pour across the border — Gowdy delivered a blanket pardon to the world’s alien youth to enter the country illegally. Gowdy even likened illegal immigration to a child harmlessly wandering into a neighbor’s yard: “When children wander into neighborhood yards, we don’t call that trespassing.â€

That liberty score the keep popping up has a funny little sidenote.
Missed votes are not included in a member of Congress’ score.
Rubio gets a 79 rating. But missed votes are not counted against him. Few congresscritters missed more votes than Rubio has.

Sessions supports tariffs & King supported the Farm bill. They got marked down a lot.
Rubio is gaming the system. He could vote to gut medicare and a whole bunch of things and he knows Obama & enough RINOS will not proceed anyway.
