The Wisconsin state Assembly today approved a bill that will help further de-fund the Planned Parenthood abortion business in the Badger State after it was caught across the country selling the body parts of aborted babies for profit.
The legislature has been working to approve two companion pieces of legislation to cut funding to the Planned Parenthood abortion corporation.
AB 310/SB 237, which has already been passed by the State Assembly and is already on the desk of pro-life Gov. Scott Walker, redirects federal Title X family planning funds away from organizations that perform abortions, meaning $3.5 million taxpayer dollars will be driven away from Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin. The bill approved today, SB 238/AB 311, dramatically reduces Planned Parenthood of Wisconsinâs artificially inflated Medicaid reimbursement rates, and will eliminate $4.5 million taxpayer funds that have previously gone to Planned Parenthood.
With all Republicans in favor and all Democrats against, the Assembly approved the bill 61-35 and sent it to Walker.
âTaxpayers should not be subsidizing abortion providers,â said the billâs chief sponsor, Rep. André Jacque (R-De Pere).
Heather Weininger, Executive Director of Wisconsin Right to Life, told LifeNews.com: âThese bills, AB 310 and SB 238, are essential steps towards steering funds away from an organization that has been mired in controversy.â
âVoting for AB 310 and SB 238 demonstrates their ability to stand up to the pro-abortion lobby, and stand for the right to life of unborn children,â she added.

Sen. Chris Kapenga, R-Delafield, author of the second bill, talked about his legislation.
âThis is a consistent stance with where I have always been, where many others in this body have always been, and that is, we are going to protect life,â Kapenga said. âI believe that that begins at conception, and I believe that one of the cornerstones of the Declaration of Independence and what our Constitution is drafted around is the protection of life.â
Sen. Lena Taylor, D-Milwaukee, argued the bills arenât about protection of life, but rather about passing a vindictive agenda.
Sen. Duey Stroebel, R-Saukville, rejected the premise that Republicans are going after birth control. He disputed the argument that access can be challenged, arguing, âI think itâs pretty easy to find. At least, thatâs the way I thought it was.â
âWomenâs birth control? Iâm for womenâs birth control. I think probably most everybody else here is, too. Thatâs not an issue,â Stroebel said. âI support womenâs health care. I think everybody else here does. What we donât support is a taxpayer subsidy for a private abortion provider. Thatâs what this bill is about. We are for womenâs health care, and we want to see that that is available.â
Five Planned Parenthood clinics have closed since Gov. Scott Walker cut off the organizationâs state funding in 2011.
Wisconsin Right to Lifeâs Executive Director Heather Weininger said there are better candidates for Title X funds are the 16 non-controversial, federally-qualified health centers operating in 96 service sites around the state of Wisconsin that provide women health care services.
âWe need to look past puffed up claims such as the belief that without Planned Parenthood, women will not have access to care like mammograms. The reality is, not a single Planned Parenthood facility provides mammograms within their doors, just referrals to health care facilities that do provide them,â she said.
Weininger added: âBy the admission of Planned Parenthoodâs President and CEO Teresa Huyck in her deposition for Planned Parenthood v. Van Hollen, in 2012 alone Planned Parenthood performed about 4,000 abortions, approximately 60% of all Wisconsin abortions in that year, and the âvast majorityâ of the services in the Appleton North and Milwaukee-Jackson centers are abortion.â
Casey Mattox, senior counsel for Alliance Defending Freedom, said thee are better places for taxpayer funds to go than to an abortion company.
He told LifeNews.com: âPlanned Parenthood shouldnât be profiting off of women and taxpayers. Yet, this scandal-plagued organization has accepted more than $4 billion in taxpayer subsidies over the past decade while reporting more than $765 million in âexcess revenues.â Wisconsin taxpayers shouldnât be forced into this immoral partnership with Planned Parenthood, especially when better, low-cost community health care providers serve women and families far more comprehensively and outnumber Planned Parenthood facilities in Wisconsin 17 to 1.â
According to Wisconsin Right to Life, based on the numbers from Planned Parenthood Federation of Americaâs 2013-2014 Annual Report, 19 out of every 20 pregnant women who walk through their doors are sold abortion, and abortion outnumbers adoption referrals by a ratio of 174 to one. Planned Parenthoodâs claim that abortion makes up â3 percentâ of its services is conjured up by parceling out each individual service it does, from a pregnancy test to a pap smear, even if all of these services are done at one visit, with one client, which is a gross manipulation of their numbers.
Congress has had multiple hearings investigating numerous abuses and potential violation of multiple laws to sell aborted baby parts.
In the first hearing on Planned Parenthood, James Bopp, the general counsel for the National Right to Life Committee, told the House Judiciary Committee that Planned Parenthood likely broke multiple federal laws in its sale of aborted babies and their body parts for research.
He said, âRecorded conversations, released by the Center for Medical Progress reveal many legal issues with Planned Parenthoodâs procedures and practices regarding fetal tissue procurement.â
During a second hearing, Democrats on the panel complained that the videos showing the abuses at Planned Parenthood were âheavily edited.â But when Republicans on the committee attempted to show the videos, they objected and refused to watch them.
At a third hearing, Planned Parenthood CEO Cecile Richards defended the sales of abortion babies. She contended that no baby has ever been born alive following a botched abortion, she essentially admitted that claims Planned Parenthood does mammograms are a lie, and she defended her exorbitantly high salary as the head of the nationâs biggest abortion business.
âThese procedures and practices of Planned Parenthood, and their tissue procurement partners, show that federal laws when applicable, have been and are continuing to be violated during the procurement and sale of human fetal tissue,â Bopp explained.

The exposeâ videos catching Planned Parenthood officials selling the body parts of aborted babies have shocked the nation. Here is a list of all eleven:
In the first video: Dr. Deborah Nucatola of Planned Parenthood commented on baby-crushing: âWeâve been very good at getting heart, lung, liver, because we know that, so Iâm not gonna crush that part, Iâm gonna basically crush below, Iâm gonna crush above, and Iâm gonna see if I can get it all intact.â In the second video: Planned Parenthoodâs Dr. Mary Gatter joked, âI want a Lamborghiniâ as she negotiated the best price for baby parts. In the third video: Holly OâDonnell, a former Stem Express employee who worked inside a Planned Parenthood clinic, detailed first-hand the unspeakable atrocities and how she fainted in horror over handling baby legs. In the fourth video: Planned Parenthoodâs Dr. Savita Ginde stated, âWe donât want to do just a flat-fee (per baby) of like, $200. A per-item thing works a little better, just because we can see how much we can get out of it.â She also laughed while looking at a plate of fetal kidneys that were âgood to go.â In the fifth video: Melissa Farrell of Planned Parenthood-Gulf Coast in Houston boasted of Planned Parenthoodâs skill in obtaining âintact fetal cadaversâ and how her âresearchâ department âcontributes so much to the bottom line of our organization here, you know weâre one of the largest affiliates, our Research Department is the largest in the United States.â In the sixth video: Holly OâDonnell described technicians taking fetal parts without patient consent: âThere were times when they would just take what they wanted. And these mothers donât know. And thereâs no way they would know.â In the seventh and perhaps most disturbing video: Holly OâDonnell described the harvesting, or âprocurement,â of organs from a nearly intact late-term fetus aborted at Planned Parenthood Mar Monteâs Alameda clinic in San Jose, CA. ââYou want to see something kind of cool,ââ OâDonnell says her supervisor asked her. âAnd she just taps the heart, and it starts beating. And Iâm sitting here and Iâm looking at this fetus, and its heart is beating, and I donât know what to think.â In the eighth video: StemExpress CEO Cate Dyer admits Planned Parenthood sells âa lot ofâ fully intact aborted babies. The ninth video: catches a Planned Parenthood medical director discussing how the abortion company sells fully intact aborted babies â including one who âjust fell outâ of the womb. The 10th video: catches the nationâs biggest abortion business selling specific body parts â including the heart, eyes and âgonadsâ of unborn babies. The video also shows the shocking ways in which Planned Parenthood officials admit that they are breaking federal law by selling aborted baby body parts for profit. Unreleased Videos: Unreleased videos from CMP show Deb Vanderhei of Planned Parenthood caught on tape talking about how Planned Parenthood abortion business affiliates may âwant to increase revenue [from selling baby parts] but we canât stop themâ¦â Another video has a woman talking about the âfinancial incentivesâ of selling aborted baby body parts. The 11th video: catches a texas Planned Parenthood abortionist planning to sell the intact heads of aborted babies for research. Amna Dermish is caught on tape describing an illegal partial-birth abortion procedure to terminate living, late-term unborn babies which she hopes will yield intact fetal heads for brain harvesting.

The full, unedited videos have confirmed that revelations that some aborted baby remains sold by Planned Parenthood go to biotech companies for the purpose of creating âhumanizedâ mice. Meanwhile, Planned Parenthood has been exposed as having sold body parts from aborted babies for as much as 15 years.
The federal law that technically prohibits the sale of aborted babies and their body parts was written by a pro-abortion Congressman decades ago and essentially spells out a process by which sellers of aborted baby body parts can meet certain criteria that allows the sales to be legal. Thatâs why a Colorado congressman has introduced legislation to totally ban the sales of aborted baby body parts.
I hope Trump will lead, even if from afar, a movement to impeach, and remove from office, activist Federal judges.
Because that’s where this is going, and based on recent history, where this will be overturned.
WOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOO! HOORAY Wisconsin
great news.
BTW the “RINO” John Kasich will be signing a bill (on his desk now)to defund Planned Parenthood in Ohio.
Planned Murderhood is the only liberal enterprise that has ever shown a profit, but only because the government is subsidizing their baby killing disassembly line. Kill the babies, chop them up, and sell the pieces. That’s their business model. I’m sure that Hillary is so pleased.
Prayers up for the success of this measure.
