Rush Limbaugh: Let’s face it, Trump sounded like a liberal Dem in some things he said at debate

Here we are in a Republican primary, and Donald Trump, out of the blue, starts blaming the Bush family for 9/11, for knowing that the intelligence was made up, that there never were any weapons of mass destruction, and they knew it, Trump said.

Michael Moore doesn’t even say that…

On the stage at a Republican debate, Donald Trump defended Planned Parenthood. Not the abortion stuff, he said, but the fact that they do great things for women’s health. Folks, there were a number of occasions where Donald Trump sounded like the Daily Kos blog, where Donald Trump sounded like the Democrat Underground, sounded like any average host on MSNBC.

So Trump claims to have seen the light and become “conservative,” er, “conserving-tive” in the last 5 or so years, and anyone who’s been fighting Democrats for decades before him is now considered a “shill” for liberals if they question even one thing he says.

It’s amazing how developing a huge man-crush on the Donald seems to make so much blood rush out of people’s brains and into their crotchal areas. Well, he’s left his wives before and committed adultery before, so I’m not going to tell you that it’s completely impossible you’ll ever get to satisfy all of your secret, burning, carnal urges for hairboy.

“I am pointing out the low brow bigotry exhibited by someone who becomes an example for the other side to bash us with. I notice you didn’t disown the bigotry.”

The only bigotry on display was yours, in equating race with same-sex attraction disorder.

“Whether or not someone is a homosexual or a so-called minority means nothing to me.”

There you go again, equating the two. If it means nothing to you whether someone suffers from an extremely severe mental disorder, then that is very foolish. The forced legitimization of deviant sexuality has harmed us all, and will continue to wreak harm until it is reversed.

“there are even a couple “gays” in the tree.”

That explains your foolish opinion.

“If Limbaugh wishes to spend money he earned, legally, on a one tune homosexual singer is his business.”

The sodomite onslaught is the business of us all.

“Just as it is a wealthy person’s right to spend a couple hundred thou on a car or a boat or a cabin in the woods or a vacation trip to some secluded island with a lone toilet on an open air patio.”

Buying a car is hardly the same as bringing those who make a practice of anally raping pre-pubescent boys into the mainstream of society and holding them up to children as role models.

Trump may attract 33% of GOP voters...but he is burning bridges with 66% who do not goose step behind him.

well i get that i’m not politically correct on this one, gop-wise and maybe FR-wise, but i have a question for you? did rush ultimately support romney, mccain, dole, bush 1, bush 2, nixon, ford, etc. for president. (to his credit, i think he at least supported RR, right?)

now 2nd question, will he support the dynastic gope bush III, kasich, carson or rubio the traitor if he’s the gop nominee?

sorry man (i’m not a republican, but cruz is the only republican left i can still vote for and he’s started supporting the bushes to bash trump). anyway that’s my defintion of a gope, anyone who says gop no matter what, gop first, gop last, gop forever.

i think the gope party needs to be destroyed to clear the way for a conservative party. otherwise i think rush is a great guy, conservative educator and democrat nemesis. just my opinion.

LAZ I am with you, IMMIGRATION is my ONLY issue this season without our borders being closed our conservative views won’t mean a damn thing anymore!!! Trump just speaks what is on his mind he isn’t poll driven I know who he is and I can accept these flaws for FINALLY securing the damn border!!!! The ONLY reason I believe he WILL secure the border is because he IS self funded and not beholden to the open borders crowd!!!! I CAN’T WAIT to see our NEW SKYSCRAPER WALL!!!! Trump is NOT a socialist or Marxist he DOES love the country, he is a fighter as far as MSM is concerned and to me NOTHING can be worse than Obama except Hillary or Bernie of course!!!!

The irony here, it seems to me, that Donald Trump is trying to distance himself from many conservative voters nearly as much as the GOP-E has been in the last few years. Whether he is doing it intentionally or not is the mystery.

I think many of the conservatives clambering on his bandwagon ain't going to like the final destination when it's all said and done.

Time will tell, I suppose.

Insanity has taken hold here. I am beside myself that figure heads like Rush and Beck and Levin are now being called all sorts of names and considered basically “the enemy” because they don’t support Trump.

Just amazed. All rational thought has gone out the window, when Trump came on scene.

“The one he has hewed to for a while now . . .”

Yeah, he does talk the talk right now. I’ve give him that.

But he has a checkered past - especially on the right of Americans to own modern firearms. And he has the ability to change his position and temperament on important issues in a New York minute.

Trump curried favor with the Clinton’s until just recently. Gave them money to ensure his own protection. Now he is currying favor with Republican primary voters - not so much with money - but with words that really tickle my ears. And lots and lots of campaign promises.

What in Trump’s past makes you think he will stay hitched to a conservative interpretation of the constitution?

Is it because you trust his vows to do so?

As a democracy who we are and what we become are determined by simple math, 50+1= winner.

The single most important issue in this election is demographics. Unless we address the open border which is creating permanent generations of Dem voters and sway some Dem leaning voters by persuading them we have solutions to the job losses caused by these corporate welfare trade deals NAFTA and TPP, the Republic is done.

Ever issue from 2nd amend, abortion, Obamacare, marriage, etc. is secondary, because they are dependent on 50+1.

We have no idea what Trump will do as Prez., but we do know what Clinton, Bush, Rubio, Kasich, and and even Cruz will do, more of the same. Either fast forward or slow creep toward total collectivism. Collectivism devours, it is never satisfied, always needs enemies and heroic Dem politicians to right imagined wrongs.

Trump has made the strongest statements on the single most important issues, will he follow though, who knows, but the outcome of the rest is known. End of the Republic.

Rush’s wife said she was a big fan of Elton John so he hired him for the wedding. Rush isn’t running for President and inviting his most likely rival Hillary to his wedding.

Donald Trump is a crazy 9/11 Truther. A straitjacket and a quick trip the psych ward will do very nicely for this lunatic.

There's knowledge beneath them there grey whiskers :- )   Much appreciate the fine analysis: sounds very rational and wise.

Distancing himself from the Bush administration right now is a double whammy.  He diffuses the attacks that W will make in SC and -- as you said -- he prepares for the general.

The Art of the Deal style cunning is written all over his moves at the last debate.

And another thing we learned in from the debate is that Cruz is not the Championship Debater he advertises himself to be.  People are now familiar with his smooth talking and tactics of accusing the moderators.

Trump took Cruz down a couple pegs.   Also the moderator Dickerson was masterful in calling Cruz out for misrepresenting the facts on Justice Kennedy.
