ok, i’ll explain myself again (last time):
i’m an ex dem from a family of working class dems who is a “decline to state” registered voter in ca. i’ve voted for reps, dems in the past, but i consider myself an independent, anti-uniparty conservative. i would naturally gravitate to supporting a “conservative party” candidate. i would never under any circumstances support rubio, bush, carson, kasitch. i could vote for cruz, although i’m not really a “supporter” of his, he wasn’t a first choice for me. from the gop primary side, i was basically a walker or sen. sessions supporter. if trump goes indie, i could vote for him. as long as he stays gop, i remain a skeptic.
in my view, anyone who argues for party loyalty at this point (could say cast a vote for a bush) is (take your choice): gope, leftist dem, or uniparty globalist. for me, rush fits in there as a gope. maybe a reluctant gope, but a gope nevertheless.
explain myself again (last time):
OK to sum up.
You abstained from voting in the last election Obama won because you could not vote for the establishment guy.
You wil go fishing in 2016 if the socialist is up against a GOPe candidate.
I apologize, It was not intention to pry into your voting habit as it started out with your statement that Rush was establishent and I replied no way.
In case you may be interested, I unethusiastically voted for Romney and will vote establismemt against a socialist if I have to.

Media bias bests big money as top voter complaint

Media bias is a bigger problem than high dollar donations for 2016 likely voters focused on the presidential election, according to a new national survey.
Rasmussen Reports found that when asked “Which is the bigger problem in politics today,” voters picked media bias over money, 47 percent to 45 percent.
What’s more, the survey found that voters believe that the media has too much power in politics. Some 66 percent said it was too powerful, compared to just 26 percent who said the media wielded just enough influence in the election.
Middle-aged voters tend to believe more strongly than other voters that the media have too much influence over elections,” said the poll analysis.

Anyway, it makes it easier to sell something when you believe in it. Break it down, it's actually all sales. Each person is trying to sell their ideas and ideals. Religion, politics, soap or pizza. The best salespeople are true believers.
That’s BS
What an ass......................
Trump will not please you or I...on immigration...nor the 2nd.
Trump has not changed his stripes.....

Another conservative relegated to persona-non-grata status because he fails to kiss the ring of DT.
You are just a puke.............
no not quite, i voted third party conservative and down ballot where there was a point to voting. opened my checkbook indivdually for brat, cruz, even down to supporting the opponent of g.p. bush for land commissioner in tx, etc.
yes, i did not vote for romney. it wasn’t a hard vote, he was unelectable, imo, anyway.
yeah. i figured you did vote for romney based on your appologetics.
Look, we both agree that Bruce Jenner’s a perverted #$%$ot and that Globull Warming is a great big load of Al Gorian Horse$hit.
But Ted Cruz ain’t the answer either. He’s using his Christianity to try to get people to look past his numerous flaws and I’m sorry you’ve apparently bought into it- hook, line, and stinker.
> “You better get used to it.”
What - Cruz? He’ll get landslid by the dyke beast Clinton. Cruz doesn’t have an ice cube’s chance winning anything in the NE or California. His brand of Christianity only works in the South and Midwest. Neither is enough to carry the general.
At first you wrote at one point that "Rush sounded like a RINO when he was championing Rubio." Ok whatever, your thoughts. But then you write that you tuned him out 10 years ago. Say What?
If you have tuned him out 10 years ago then how can you say its past time for Rush to retire? How would you know? Tell me you are not reading and listening to those claiming to repeat what Rush says? Specially the haters that twist his words to meet their own agenda.
Re illegals . . . Of course that is the immediate war taking place. Of course there are those, myself included that feel Marco committed an unforgivable sin. But even I and of course most others can look past that "in the moment" and recognize what else Rubio has done. Specially when Rubio calls out Obama like he did. When Rubio called out Obama, most conservatives should have said hallelujah and please pass the biscuits. But no . . . we only eat our own.
Please read and form your own opinions. Of course thats what makes the world go round. Expressing those opinions validates the thought process. But when those opinions are vitriolic assaulting the sensibilities of those reading who are assumed to be like minded . . . well then . . . yeah baby, blast away.
Please do enjoy your time. Lets not be like our fathers who ripped into everything they disagreed with bitterness and whatever else it was that made them say the not so nice things they said. It makes the youngins around uncomfortable and they stop listening to you
Anti-religous sentiment has taken hold in the age of Obama and the democRATs. No wonder you support Trump. The secular world is destroying this country before your eyes, and it defines the rotten pop-culture in America. You are afraid of Christians though. What a statement that is.
Wow, I can't believe I'm reading this from a fellow Freeper. I see so much projection in it too. "hook, line and sinker"? Please compile a list of flip flops and liberal associations of Ted Cruz. Here are the Trump facts.
Now: In an interview with Bloomberg Politics in January, Trump said, "I'm pro-life and I have been pro-life." He said he believed there should be exceptions in cases of rape, incest or the life of the mother.
Now: At the 2015 NRA-ILA Leadership Forum, Trump said if he became president, "the 2nd Amendment will be totally protected." He told the Web site Ammoland he does "not support expanding background checks" and said current background checks "don't work."
Now:Â On NBC on Wednesday, he called Clinton "the worst secretary of state in the history of our nation" and said she would be "a terrible president."
Now:Â Has been a registered Republican since 2009.
There are also some flips which haven't necessarily been from left to right.
Now:Â On Fox News's "On The Record" this week, he called Bush "pathetic" for his support of Common Core, said his immigration views were "baby stuff."
” i did not vote for romney. it wasn’t a hard vote,””figured you did vote for romney based on your apologetics”
Thank you the reply. Certainly didn’t want the absolutely worst president in US history to get reelected!
You will go fishing in 2016 if the socialist is up against a GOPe candidate?
fishing? i kinda like the idea. i did a bunch of camping before obama, bush, tarp and the tea party.
however...
you think obama’s the worst, huh? i can make a case that teddy, wilson, hoover, carter, lbj, nixon, fdr, and, yes, even the tandem bushes were far worse presidents than baraq. for instance, baraq was set up by the bushes. the main damage to the republic was done far before baraq.
anyway, i made my judgment: the known, lame-duck, leftist baraq—as bad as he is—attempting to govern with a divided congress, was a lesser danger in a 2nd term to me, mine, and the nation then the potential evil coming from a 2 term, leftist, hypocritical, technocratic, central planning, corporate raiding, politician like romney running a united gope congress. i decided to protest my vote for president. admittedly, that’s pretty easy in the people’s republic of ca.
2016? well FRiend, i’ll continue to work (and vote) in my small way to destabilize the uni-party (including the gope wing of that party) in every way i can morally do, while you, i trust, will continue your perpetual two-party jig to the music of the uni-party puppeteers.
well, last word if you want it, and may God bless and guide you and yours.
“People are sick of being lied to.”
If that was true, Trump wouldn’t have half the support he does.
“was a lesser danger in a 2nd term to me, mine, and the nation then the potential evil coming from a 2 term”
Mercy me, executive orders re amnesty for illegals and the assault on the constitional right to bear arms, IRS “Not Even A Smidgen Of Corruption” , Middle East a conglomerate all points train wreck, another Shenanigan to take a seat on the Supreme Court? I am agape!
“last word if you want it, and may God bless and guide you and yours.”
Thank you for those loving words of comfort and of course I wish for the same for
you and yours!
