Rush has been the establishments gatekeeper since the mid 90’s. establishes the boundaries of what is acceptable discussion. If one veers into unacceptable areas then they are anathema. His 10 point kook test is evidence. It was a well known rumor he wash ushered into the establishment in the 90’s when he became a dominant force.

I agree he would be better than Bush Clinton or Sanders.

I’m not sure I share your faith in his second amendment views however. He strikes me as a typical New York State Rockefeller republican who will start calling for “assault weapons” bans as soon as it becomes politically expedient.

Listening to RushTrump is akin to what we say about the weather in Indiana in the spring.

If you don't like it, just wait 15 minutes.

Fixed it for you.

RE: IF THE CURRENT POLICIES CONTINUE, THERE WONT BE ANYTHING LEFT TO CONSERVE.

IF THE CURRENT BIG GOVERNMENT STATIST POLICIES CONTINUE, THERE WONT BE ANYTHING LEFT TO CONSERVE.

Fixed it for you. Trump is a big government taxing deficit bloating statist.

Never ascribe to malice what can be better ascribed to incompetence.

So, other than posting comments clearly in support of a lying Constitutionally ineligible candidate for President, what have YOU done to advance the conservative agenda?

“I guess it falls into the view that I hold, that he is a populist, and not necessarily a traditional conservative. I have to bank on the Immigration and Second Amendment issues, those are my primary concerns.”

Trump is still my 2nd choice, but I have growing concerns. We could reach a point where he nudges himself to the left to a degree that his supporters here on FR become extreme right traditional conservatives by comparison, and those issues that are your primary concerns could become sacrificial for his populist stance in order to get elected. Unfortunately, I'm predicting that based on his tacking left.

Ron Paul said a lot of the same things and Ron Paul is no Liberal.

Ron Paul is no liberal, but he is an idiot when it comes to foreign policy, borders, and trade, as is his son.

trump is a hard case for me. i don’t have any trust in him outside of the effect he’s having on the gope. i have to give him credit though. bush would have most likely been the gop candidate by now if it weren’t for trump.

i was a sessions/walker guy who only has cruz left in the gop as a potential vote right now. i never had much trust in cruz. for one thing, senators seem to make awful presidential candiates. and some of his supporters here were vicious in their attacks on walker. anyway, if cruz fails, i’ll probably go indie again.

I listen to Rush as often as I can. I don’t base my life on what he says or who is is talking about at any given moment.

Rush talks about all of the candidates. Depends on which sound bite one wants to hang their hat on

I’m sorry if you missed my point.

And don’t tell people to STFU.

What kind of man pays a singer $1,000,000 to sing One song to his bride? Someone who doesn’t respect what it takes for Joe & Jane Sixpack to earn that amount, a lifetime of work. He’s an elitist puke.
