“Levin being recently engaged to a woman whose son happens to work in the Senate office of Ted Cruz.”

If her son worked for Bush, would he be supporting Bush? If you don’t think Levin would still be supporting Cruz, then you obviously don’t pay attention to him.

No he isn't Mark. He never said Bush was behind 9/11.

No, Levin didn't say that Trump said that Bush was "behind" 9/11.

Levin is full of it.

Sure. Falsely claim that Levin said something and then call him "full of it".

I guess his new fiance's kid needs employment though.

...as if Levin wouldn't like Cruz because he is conservative.

Levin likes Cruz because he is conservative, unlike Trump who is a populist.

I definitely recall that Colin Powell claimed that he was “mislead” by the intelligence experts prior to the invasion of Iraq. Did Bush know the facts or not?

I could never understand why we didn’t demand future military bases and a chunk of the oil revenue for our sacrifice in Iraq. To think that the 3 ethnic components in Iraq could ever live in peace has always been a folly.

Here's Trump giving his support to the traitor-in-chief on his worldwide apology tour...

TRUMP [on the Larry King Show (April 15, 2009), referring to the then newly elected communist president (Obama)]: "Well, I really like him. I think that he's working very hard. He's trying to rebuild our reputation throughout the world. I mean, we really have lost a lot of reputation in the world. The previous administration [GW Bush] was a total disaster, a total catastrophe."

” Invading Iraq was a huge mistake which cost us the last two elections.”

Invading Iraq kept the terrorists dying in Iraq and Afghanistan instead of on our school grounds. Doesn’t sound like a huge mistake to me.

Iraq had field chemical weapon, that they used during battles field against Iran and also against the Kurds. They had No intention of using these weapons against Homeland America. Hell, even after we attacked them they didn’t use them against us. We attacked Iraq for one reason, George Bush heard some BS intelligence that Saddam hated his Daddy, and so Georgie sent thousands of young Americans to their deaths to avenge his paranoia.

No surprise from Levin, he's just using a time-honored tactic to smearing opponents to shut down discussion and debate.

It's tiresome to hear knee-jerk defenders of the Bush administration try to smear everyone and anyone who points out the disinformation the administration used to sell the Iraq war as a "liberal." It's equally tiresome to see any and all criticism of the Bush administration's close ties with the Saudis, or the fact that intelligence of likely attacks wasn't treated as seriously as it should have been early in 2001 as a "9/11 Truther."

The most hilarious part of this story is Mark Levin thinks he is acting completely “normal” with his comments. Glenn Beck thinks he is also being reasonable.

There is a complete meltdown in the Cruz camp.

To a Elites like Levin and Rush spending a trillion on a useless, insane war is Okey Dokey...

More false information. Levin actually said on his show that there are arguments to be made to be against the war. What Levin complained about was Trump accusing Bush of "lying" about WMD.

, but providing elderly with Prescription drug coverage is 'Wasteful'. Just shows me the mindset of Levin and Rush.,/I>

You support Prescription Drug coverage?

How Russia arms America's southern neighbors

Ioan Grillo
May 9, 2014

RIO DE JANEIRO, Brazil -- Russia's push into Ukraine has put many on edge. But less known is that Russia is also strengthening its military links south of the Rio Grande and re-establishing itself as a power in the region.

Vladimir Putin has been strengthening military links here, and Russia is now the largest arms dealer to governments in Latin America, surpassing the United States.

Russia has even floated the possibility of building new military bases in Cuba, Venezuela and Nicaragua, and putting its warships permanently in the Caribbean.

In the midst of the Ukraine crisis, Russia's top diplomat Sergei Lavrov recently visited Cuba, Peru, Chile, and Nicaragua, where he announced that Russia would also pour money into the new Central American canal project. ..."

Russia Boosts Arms, Training for Leftist Latin Militaries

Moscow defense minister inks deals with Cuba, Venezuela, Nicaragua for joint exercises

BY: Bill Gertz
February 20, 2015

Russia agreed to provide military training for three leftist regimes in Latin America and increase military visits and exercises following a visit last week to the region by Moscow's Defense Minister Sergei Shoygu, Pentagon officials said.

Shoygu met with defense and military leaders in Cuba, Venezuela, and Nicaragua and signed several agreements on warship visits and military training during the visit, which ran from Feb. 11 to 14. It is not clear whether any new arms deals were completed during the visit.

Defense officials said the Russian leader is seeking bases in the region for strategic bomber flights that Shoygu recently promised would include flights over the Gulf of Mexico and Caribbean.

Russia Ramping Up Military Drills to Cold War Levels, NATO Says

Feb 5, 2016 - FoxNews.com

Russia has stepped up its military maneuvers to a level unseen since the height of the Cold War, according to a new report released by NATO Thursday.

Jens Stoltenberg, the alliance's secretary general and author of the report, noted that Moscow has conducted at least 18 large-scale exercises over the past three years, "some of which have involved more than 100,000 troops."

Those exercises included several simulated nuclear attacks against NATO allies and partner nations ..."

Trump: "Cruz is a nasty guy, nobody likes him"

Meanwhile...

Fred Dicker: What is it going to mean for Donald Trump to have Bill de Blasio as [New York City] Mayor? "

Donald Trump: "He's a smart guy that knows what's going on really big league and I think he is not going to want to destroy New York."

(Voice Over: That was Donald Trump a little over two years ago, endorsing [Marxist] Bill de Blasio for New York Mayor)

Donald Trump: "I think pretty strongly that he'll end up being a good mayor, maybe a very good mayor."

(Voice Over: De Blasio ran on class warfare, sanctuary cities and ending stop and frisk. De Blasio's sided with looters and cop killers against the police, with teachers unions against schoolchildren and with PC liberals to let the homeless run wild on city streets)

Donald Trump: "I think he is going to want to make New York great. ..."

________________________________________

"In continuing his "New York values" line of attack, Ted Cruz brought up an interview Donald Trump gave years ago in which he himself emphasized his New York background as being important to his political philosophy.

And now we have that interview.

Cruz's campaign posted the video earlier today of Trump with Tim Russert on Meet the Press in 1999.

Russert asked Trump about gay marriage. Trump didn't want to comment on it, but said he has no problem with gays in the military.

He explained, "I've lived in New York City and Manhattan all my life, okay? So my views are a little bit different than if I lived in Iowa."

When Russert asked Trump about abortion, he said he's "pro-choice in every respect" and again cited his New York background, which he said has a "different attitude" from most of the country

http://www.mediaite.com/online/heres-the-1999-donald-trump-new-york-values-interview-cruz-has-been-talking-about/

"the way Trump described his "evolution" from the pro-choice to pro-life position raises some interesting questions.

He said: "Friends of mine years ago were going to have a child, and it was going to be aborted. And it wasn't aborted. And that child today is a total superstar, a great, great child. And I saw that. And I saw other instances."

Now, I'm one who cheers whenever someone publicly switches from supporting abortion rights to supporting human rights for all - including the unborn. I am glad to see people like Norma McCorvey, the "Jane Roe" of the Roe v. Wade decision that legalized abortion, or Bernard Nathanson, founder of the National Association for the Repeal of Abortion Laws, become pro-life activists.

But I find it difficult to cheer Trump's conversion, because the reason he gives for being pro-life doesn't correspond to the pro-life ethic.

Trump says he is pro-life because of a "superstar" child who could have been aborted.

Consider how he responded to a reporter who wondered if he would have become pro-life had the child been a "loser":

"Probably not, but I've never thought of it. I would say no, but in this case it was an easy one because he's such an outstanding person."

To summarize Trump's view: "I'm pro-life because we shouldn't abort fetuses that may grow up to be outstanding people."

But opponents of abortion take a different position: "I'm pro-life because we shouldn't kill innocent human beings, no matter who they might grow up to be."

Trump's reason for being pro-life depends on the potential outcome of the child in the womb, rather than the fact that there is a child in the womb. But the pro-life ethic is grounded in the inherent worth of all humanity. It is wrong to commit violence against innocent human beings. Full stop.

And that's where, ironically, Trump's position sounds similar to the pro-choice idea that the human fetus is "potential life" or that the value of the unborn depends on whether or not the child is "wanted."

Extending Trump's logic leads to more problems. If we adopt the position of abortion opponents merely because of what a child may grow up to be (a "superstar!"), then why should we care if 67 percent of Down syndrome children are aborted after a prenatal diagnosis? What would Trump say if he were told there's a better chance an "unwanted" child from an impoverished or minority neighborhood would grow up to be involved in crime? ..."
