Somebody needs to ask him what part of the Constitution he thought he was following when he said in July of 2008 that he would be POTUS for “the next 8 to 10 years”.

I very much hope that the Republicans continually remind people of Obama and Schumer’s positions on Alito’s appointment. That should be the standard talking point when the presstitutes start talking about Republican obstructionism.

"And, there are times where folks are in the Senate, and they're thinking is this going to cause me problems in a primary, is this going to cause me problems with supporters of mine, and so people take strategic decisions," he said.

This is the very essence of representative democracy...it's the whole point of a representative republic....legislators are elected for the purpose of representing the interests of their constituency, and should very much be concerned how their voting record effects their electability back home.

Of course accountability to the electorate is a four letter epithet to the America hating Obastard.

If McConnell had any guts he would stand up in the Senate & tell Obama, “What goes around, comes around”.

You’d think he’d want to take the high road just one time in this administration, but nope.

Obama will totally nominate an ultra leftist.

I personally doubt if Obama has even read the Constitution. If he has, given is Marxist upbringing, he sees it as an obstruction to be gotten around. So far, he's managed to do that because the feckless Republican Party will not fight back and oppose him on ANYTHING. They will hem and haw about we can't because he's the first black POTUS and we'll be tarred and feathered by the Donkeys and MSM for being obstructionists. So they do what the congressional leadership does best — they cave and don't even put up the pretense of a fight or opposition. THAT is what angers the majority of Republicans who still care about this country. The Donkeys gave up on America for a socialist utopia years ago.

“His anger and the timing of Scalia’s death tells me this is about making a play to abolish the 2nd amendment to cause irreparable damage to the U.S”.

I think you hit the nail on the head, here. Obama has been very disappointed with lack of progress in banning guns. Never forget that the advances made in the Supreme Court regarding the Second Amendment have been determined by one vote.

The article pushes the Abortion angle, but never mentions the 2nd Amendment... I wonder why?
