Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump has fallen behind Ted Cruz in the national GOP horserace, according to a brand-new NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll.
In the poll, Cruz is the first choice of 28 percent of Republican primary voters, while Trump gets 26 percent. They're followed by Marco Rubio at 17 percent, John Kasich at 11 percent, Ben Carson at 10 percent and Jeb Bush at 4 percent.
Never thought I would see the day that they were allowed on Freerepublic.com. So many snookered and hoodwinked have they all lost their collective minds or is Trump the left’s operation chaos ?
The ONLY reason Cruz hasn’t been running over Trump completely is because there’s still too many “others” running. Wait til KAsich and Carson and Rubio and Jeb go......then we’ll see a race!!!!!

Cruz’s ground work is fabulous.....it’s senseless really to watch the polls as they cannot gauge the ground work Cruz is doing.....he’s pulling in good numbers in smaller venues but they’re packed out and then some.....as he’s moved along he’s also had to increase the size of the places he gathers at.
Cruz is exactly where he needs to be....very proud of this mans work in his campaign....he’s got the best out there for him.
Me too........but I got to say everything that Cruz does, as well as chooses not to do is carefully orchestrated...and that with purpose. Be sure of this...he will NOT lay ‘all’ his cards on the table ...and he’s got plenty to play yet.

Cruz is fine but he is foreign born and cannot be president under the strict requirements on Article II of the constitution,so I see this poll as futile. Take him out of the poll.

Trump people are extremely visceral, which makes them entertaining. But not very coherent.

It's apparently a VERY small percent. Look at how he fares in one-on-ones against either Rubio or Cruz. He gets absolutely slaughtered.

Cruz would be beating Trump better if some of these other candidates would drop out.

NBC political steering poll. But it is possible, that even tho donald says he has NO internal polling (which I don’t believe for ONE minute if he is as savvy as some say)— he is aware of the this national trending. Thus the wild brutal attacks and blood spilling. Politics.... and push polls.
but.. it could be true. The data has to be gotten on the net— because the phoning and surveys do not get to the current real voters.
This poll could be the reason Trump is totally angry out of control....or it could be outlier.
Trump to say he will sue over this poll, or Ted Cruz cheated in it.
