Republican presidential candidates Donald Trump and Ted Cruz are about neck and neck atop the GOP presidential field, according to a new NBC/WSJ national poll.

It marks the first national poll without Trump leading since late December and the first time he is not numerically ahead since Nov. 9. It's also Trump's lowest support in a national poll since late November. This poll was taken entirely after Saturday's debate, where Donald Trump took repeated swings at former President George W. Bush...

He's taken $618k from New York.

It also shows Ted has taken almost as much from out of state as from Texas. Here are the numbers:

In State $11,177,975 (51%)

Out of State $10,670,692 (49%)

most Cruz money is from Texas.....get your facts straight.

Here's where Ted's money is coming from...

In State $11,177,975 (51%)

Out of State $10,670,692 (49%)

Looks like you need to check your facts.

dude, did you read your own stats. IN STATE is 11 mill.

But with the Super PACS 45 million, it’s even more Texas skewed.

You are making a silly little chidlish point with your “loves NY Money” absurdity..but it’s not even accurate.

I excluded Super PAC's as they have NOTHING to do with the campaign. These numbers are his campaign committee only.

Where did you get this info .. is it on Ted’s Facebook page, etc. I don’t facebook or twitter so if it’s not on a website somewhere .. but I really would like to see the details.

I’m originally from New York, so I’d be very interested in knowing who is supporting him.

thanks

All political polls are jokes, loaded questions, more dems sampled than GOP, and they ask college age more than seniors. Demographics is not represented well to few Military are asked. College age are the GIVE ME AGE, I DON’T want to start at the bottom skulls full of MUSH as Rush says. Have no idea of the issues or care as long as they get free condoms and college with grades handed to them.

Only poll that counts is that on Election day. And the GOPe is in a sweat that Evangelicals will sit home like they did with RINO Romney. They want some one they can control like Rubio or Bush who are PRO AMNESTY. Those out of work because of illegals will not vote for a Pro Amnesty candidate. Those who lost jobs because DUMBO drove them out of this country are not going to support any candidate that supports the EPA’s destruction of their industry. Pro Lifer’s are not going to vote for pro-choice, same goes for 2nd Amendment infringement, that is the way the cookie crumbles in my neck of Tennessee. We live to close to Memphis with the daily murder(S), crime, and crooked pols you can’t vote out. We moved out of the county to get away from it, no place is safe there any more.

This is from OpenSecrets.org which tracks all this stuff.

Here's Ted's page.

https://www.opensecrets.org/politicians/summary.php?cycle=2016&cid=N00033085&type=I

Source per their page:

NOTE: All the numbers on this page are for 2011-2016 and based on Federal Election Commission data available electronically on February 17, 2016 (for Fundraising totals, Source of Funds and Total Raised vs Average) and on November 16, 2015 for Top Contributors and Industries. In the "Source of Funds" chart, "Large Individual Contributions" refer to all contributions from unique individuals aggregating to more than $200 within a cycle, and "Small Individual Contributions" refer to all contributions from unique individuals totaling $200 or less within a cycle. ("Help! The numbers don't add up...")

And schmoozing with tax dodging Rangel, Al Sharpton, the Clinton's is a good thing? And dropping F bombs, while you might not find them offensive a lot of people do.

Beware of that which TICKLES the ear as it is usually false. No such thing as a chicken in every pot like Sanders is pushing.

Always a good day when new friends are made.

I like Trump but I'm not blind to his short comings.

Trump or Cruz are going to have a fight on their hands in the general. God help us if we lose.

The Republican primary in South Carolina is this coming Saturday and it's again shaping up as a battle for second place.

Recent polls show Donald Trump holds a 2-to-1 advantage over the next closest rivals Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio. John Kasich and Jeb Bush are further behind.

but the big money is in the PACs.....to ignore the PACs as a major source of where donor money comes from is simply absurd.

http://www.nbcnews.com/meet-the-press/surprise-trump-falls-behind-cruz-national-nbc-wsj-poll-n520296 :

“When you see a number this different, it means you might be right on top of a shift in the campaign. What you don’t know yet is if the change is going to take place or if it is a momentary ‘pause’ before the numbers snap back into place,” he said.

McInturff added, “So, one poll post-Saturday debate can only reflect there may have been a ‘pause’ as Republican voters take another look at Trump. This happened earlier this summer and he bounced back stronger. We will have to wait this time and see what voters decide.”

Well, I’ll check it out .. and if the numbers don’t add up, I’ll be more suspicious they aren’t accurate.

Thanks for the info.
