Republican presidential candidates Donald Trump and Ted Cruz are about neck and neck atop the GOP presidential field, according to a new NBC/WSJ national poll.
It marks the first national poll without Trump leading since late December and the first time he is not numerically ahead since Nov. 9. The poll was taken by Hart Research Associates and Public Opinion Strategies (pos.org) for NBC and the WSJ. Hart is a Democrat outfit that worked for Clinton and Obama. Pos.org sounds like a lobbying firm.
It’s Trumos race to lose, but it looks like he’s starting to trend that way. We’ll see if it’s consistent.

I am so sick of watching my FRiends around here who support Cruz get raked that I’m ready to duke it out.
You vote for the one that calls you at a heart level, I will do the same. But you ain’t a real FReeper, no matter what your join date is, if you can’t tolerate peeps with other leanings.
This November, if the name Trump is on my ballot next to an “R” I will push that button. I just prefer Cruz. If that hairlips you or the Pope, so mote it be.
Donald Chump is going to lose another state. This isn’t a blue state.
I will do the same if Cruz is on the ballot. I just wish Cruz attempted to broaden his appeal outside the evangelicals. He can't win a general with that narrow of a base.

The team of NBC and Wall Street Journal (Rupert Murdoch owned) has struck again with their latest highly coordinated and heavily manufactured latest “Agenda Poll”. We have previously revealed NBC/WSJ’s prior two constructs.......

Remember, an “agenda poll” is not created to show a statistical snapshot of the presidential race. An “agenda poll” has nothing to do with the support. Agenda Polls are manufactured to create media talking points, to create media narratives.
Agenda polling is about setting out to make a story, to sell a specific narrative, by using polling as the means to justify the story you are selling. Nothing more, and nothing less.
and of course Politico has this as “Cruz ahead of Trump in new poll” without a huge outlier caviat. I hope Cruz convinced himself he’s winning so Donald can Trump him badly on Sat.
You actually believe that poll? Cruzbots are living in a dream world.
I'll bet our goals and desires are the same we just believe in different paths.
I worry as much about Trump in the general as I do about Cruz.
Trump can be a giant a-hole and Cruz lacks the ability to reach a larger audience.
The Dems must not win.
